Nice private hotel with very friendly & helpful staff. Room was spacious with lovely private outside space with chairs table/parasol. Nice to visit as a couple but not a great deal of things close by without driving. We were a bit limited for dining out options as were prefer to walk out rather than take the car. There were free bikes & kayaks which were fun to use. We really enjoyed chilling out here before our homeward journey. A breakfast basket of muffins & fruit was delivered in the mornings. The views of the sunset whilst sitting on the small private jetty were amazing.
We spent several days here recently and had a wonderful experience. It's a great family environment and there were children from babies to early teens including two extended families celebrating special occasions. We had a lower level suite with a patio walking out to the beach area. We had a sixth grader with us who was entertained by the resident iguanas, ping pong, corn hole, hammocks and the nice swimming pool. We enjoyed the paddle boards, kayaks and a pedal boat. We appreciated the special touches of muffins in the morning, wine at 7 and smores at 8. The location was perfect for us. All the restaurants and activities were within a fifteen minute drive or less. Ample parking close to the rooms. Everyone we encountered who worked there was very friendly and helpful. We liked that it was small and homey. The room descriptions and photos online were helpful so you know exactly what you're staying in. We used the refrigerator, microwave and sink. Loved the soap. Bed was comfortable. Pull out sofa bed convenient. Ample pool towels in the office. Bottle fillers and ice machine. This was the perfect accommodation for our trip.…
This property was just perfect! We were greeted by Stephanie, she was amazing. Friendly, helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. Our room had a curtained veranda with a second TV, and an open-air patio overlooking the water. The property has a slightly heated pool that was refreshing to swim in even at night. At night, there was a campfire with all the fixings to make smores, and we made friends with a few other guests. Watercrafts and bikes available to borrow at no extra charge, and even a light breakfast was dropped off in the morning. We just wish we had stayed longer. Definitely coming back here again!
We spent Thanksgiving at a lovely compound in Homestead, Fla. with the whole family -- 15 of us - 7 are 13 and under. We needed a quiet place to unwind before heading back North -- Coconut Palm Inn was absolutely perfect. The location is delightful, the staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating, our room though a bit small) was perfect for the two of us, the pool delightful, the kayaks were fun, and the week after Thanksgiving, we were there with just one other couple -- perfect!!
I have stayed there for 3 nights. What a nice place with nice people. I say "nice people" because the lady at front desk is very pleasant and helpful. This is a boutique hotel side with 18 rooms. You must note that there is a resort fee, but I must say this hotel is giving you back this money... Parking is free, free wine at 05:30pm, fire camp with marshmallow at 08pm, free coffee, muffins and fruits are served in front of your door in the morning. This is a family business, well organised and well maintained. There is a coffee machine in the room as well as a fridge. There is no restaurant at the hotel, so don't forget to bring some sodas or goodies with you if needed. There is nothing negative to say about this place. For sure I will return.
We stayed at various hotels during our trip to South Florida, and this was our favorite hotel by far! The location is very peaceful and beautiful. Our room had it's own cabana and patio that opened out onto the pool area....so nice! The bikes and kayaks are free to use, and there are many hammocks and chairs to relax in and enjoy the views. We also loved that the pool was open all night. Other perks...the delicious rum punch we received upon check-in, the s'mores by the fire at night, and the basket of fruit and muffins left on our patio in the morning! Such a welcoming and inviting place! (I wish we would have spent our whole vacation here!)
This motel is in an unbelievable location , however , the Rooms do not get serviced unless on request , they are very tired overall and need updating . You get a mini kitchen however you have to wash your dishes in the bathroom sink ? Also it was not as clean as I feel it should have been , I removed 6 cigarette butts from our outdoor deck on arrival ? You can’t beat the views and location but it needs updating in lots of ways
We stayed here, in the Coconut Palm Suite, for a couple of nights and wished we had stayed longer. Reception staff helpful and courteous. Superb bed and practical kitchen. The outdoor coastal area was delightful. We recommend this place to anyone.
I'm afraid to write this review and let this wonderful secret little hidden gem out! We absolutely loved our stay here! We had this most relaxing stay! Complete solitide! Veronica was so lovely and gave us such a wonderful room! The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable! We declined the glasses of wine in the evening as we don't drink but loved the muffins in the morning( delivered ot our room) and the campfire and smores in the evening! The resort cat, Coco, was also well loved. He would join us every evening when we sat out. We enjoyed using the paddle boat to explore the bay!. My husband also had fun fishing off the dock, catching a nurse shark. We also saw dolphins and manatees. We didn't want to leave! We will be back, hopefully soon!
We have traveled and spent many a nights in 5 star resorts and this does not even come close. Front desk staff were very nice and accommodating but the room needs updating - the bathroom shower head was gross and the shower did not drain at all and there were little bugs that found there way into our snacks. Having kayaks and SUP - the 7pm wine were all nice but a reminder there is a resort fee. Not worth the $500 a night in the middle of October.
