This hotel/motel is definietly old and worn, but it has its own charm. I was attending a wedding at the Hiltons Key Largo, and to avoid spending all of my money on living at the Hilton, I chose this hotel for a couple of nights. The bed was comfy, and there was also a small kitchen with a stove, coffee...

The owners, Ed & Ellen live across the street. The rooms are cute and have a full kitchen but there's nothing to do at the motel. I recommend it if you're looking for a place to stay the night (or 2). Reasonably priced.

We were skeptical due to the mix reviews but we chose to rent the place for a week anyways. This is just a moderate homie Florida Key's house, Ed and Ellen's Lodging is a little out dated as some stated but everything worked fine; tv, free wifi, shower, lights, fans, a/c, and kitchen. There is private parking and plenty of...

Ed and Ellen's is a great place to stay. The place is quite outdated and in need of some updating, but for those just needing a place to rest their head at night and clean up after a day of water sports or sight-seeing, this is an excellent choice for the price. The owner is a great guy and very...

Made reservations and had to cancel due to surgery. Gave 2 weeks notice and they advised me that they would be keeping $25 plus tax for booking fees. When we plan our trip we will not be using them for future vacation to the Keys

I don't know what else needs to be said. I could tell you not to book thru Priceline or Hotels.com or any other booking place that charges for all the nights you stay. You'll get double charged. Since it wasn't all that much anyhow, we didn't quibble too much, figured we'd take care of it later, not say anything about...

Ed and Ellens is a step back into, maybe, the 60's. Everything about it is dated and badly in need of a facelift. On the plus side: Owner is a great guy , knowledgeable about the area and funny. The property is: Clean, Neat, no bugs, comfortable bed, decent shower, Free WiFi, fridge in the room, convenient to dive shops...

It's older, but the room was clean and cheap. The owner was really nice and sarcastically funny. Very knowledgeable about things to do, gave us coupons for EVERYTHING! I will stay here again. If you are looking for fancy, this is not the place for you and if you are going to arrive late call and they will meet you,...

Although a little close to the main road, this comfortable, little hotel is a great getaway for a weekend in the Keys. You don't hang out at the room the entire time, so the road was no big deal to us. Once you're inside, with the door closed, you don't even hear the traffic. The owners, Ed & Ellen, are...
