The resort is immaculately maintained... Villas are neat and tidy and clean... we hadbonefish which had a great patio area. Our friends had no 6 on the beach.... brilliant location .. magnificent sunset... the only reason this isn't a 5... they didn't sleep well as they had an adjacent villa with noisy neighbours. BREAKFAST MUFFINS WERE AWESOME. Small beach but plenty of loungers etc. Despite comment above, we all had a marvellous time in this keys paradise.
What a lovely little gem of a resort this is. The accommodations are perfect and even though it is located off of the main road, you would never know. So peaceful and relaxing sitting by the water or in the water. Delicious fresh baked goodies for breakfast. Friendly staff and little animal friends too. I can’t wait to stay here again!!
It was my third time staying and I can’t wait to go back! The beach is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable and nice. My son absolutely had the best time playing and kayaking. I’m already planning my next trip!
We loved our stay at Seafarer and feel like we stumbled on a gem! The resort is on the gulf side which meant much calmer, waters that were great for wading and playing in, which was especially great with our 2 toddlers (3.5 and 2) - it also meant we had a great viewing of the sunset. The whole property was very well maintained and the breakfast was amazing! With 2 toddlers, the Seafarer was the perfect size for feeling like our kids were safe and like we weren’t chasing them around a huge resort. The beach area was perfect for playing in the sand as well as swimming. The rooms were simple and had everything you needed. As a family that loves to camp, we don’t like or need the extra frills that we were seeing other resorts in the area offering. The entire staff was also very communicative and friendly which is a huge plus! We loved our stay at Seafarer and definitely plan on coming back! …
WARNING!!!!!!Be careful!!!! Management does not keep their word!!! I had to cancel 3 hours after I made my reservation. I called the Hotel and they told me that I have to call Booking.com to cancel. Only then, they would refund my money. I spoke to Booking.com, they sent an email to the hotel stating that I could cancel the reservation. and they declined to honor the cancellation. WARNING!!!!!!!!!
We absolutely loved this place. The staff was phenomenal. The sunsets perfect. The little beach a treasure. The cottage on the water was perfect. The free kayaks helped us spot a Manatee. Went right over it. All in all, a great find in the heart of Key Largo.
Great little place to enjoy some quiet time in Key Largo. Though rooms are small ours was clean and recently renovated. So nice to sit at the beach — morning, day, and even night. We enjoyed the sunsets and the stars. We even had a pelican pose on a post while the sun went down behind! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Some units are closer to the water and have patios. Close to Pennekamp park where we had great snorkeling.
We returned this year because we really enjoyed our visit. It’s a little slice of island paradise, reasonably priced. Each cabin feels private because each is strategically situated amongst the landscaping. At night, the lights and tiki torches are bright enough to keep it safe but not bright enough to make it daylight. Each place has an outside sitting area and a grill. They provide beach towels, grilling equipment, kayaks, coffee makers, and even an iron. Beds are comfy, rooms are clean, breakfast is delicious. The sandy beach area has plenty of seating to watch the sunset.
Descriptions of places have they're own code, cozy means small, quaint means- hasn't been updated in years. Charming means "I can't believe people come here" Well The Seafarer hits all those notes and more. Cramped quarters, standard pastel paint and the usual dreck. The distinguished and sophisticated european travelers seem to love it. I'm American and damn it I want on ice machine on the property. If you promise me coffee at 7:am I'm expecting it at 6:50 and bringing out breakfast closer to noon than sunrise does not make for a very productive day.
Very nice little resort in Key Largo, highly recommend staying here. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage with a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage was very clean. The property is great! Ocean access with a small beach area, perfect for the kids. The breakfast that is offered is fresh and delicious. We also used the free kayaks and explored some mangroves. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall great experience and we will definitely come back.
