I hate to leave a bad review, I tried to like this place and looked forward to it for months. Do not rent the room called the Jungle. Its time to spend some money on the Jungle and give it an over haul. The room itself stinks, and while it is a pet room, we would expect it to not be perfect, but it stinks. They tried to cover up the smell with some chemical, we suspect it was the purple fabuloso...the really perfumery one. The floors are tile and were greasy and slick leading me to believe that they just pour the fabuloso directly on the floor and rub it around. The furniture is worn, bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom needs some major attention. the tiles in the shower have mold and mildew on them and appear to be just mastic-ed back in place. Now, i'm not a small guy and not a huge one either, but when I need to sit on the toilet, I do not want my junk sitting on the toilet seat with nowhere for it to hang freely. Midget toilet, no thank you. Now, the location is great, and the "point" and dock space that I paid for was great. The pool is a tiny fiberglass unit that had some paper hanging on the gate that said do not use if you have diarrhea? WHAT? REALLY!!!! For what it is, we definitely overpaid, it was a premium - I'm telling myself it was because of the location. We are paying was less this week for a really nice place on 7th street in Key Colony Beach Marathon. No comparison....never again.…

Third time here and it doesn't disappoint! Nice place! A little off the main drag but, perfect! Small and cozy we love it! We'll be back with more friends soon! Already planning another trip for next June!

We would stay again. This place isn't the newest place, but it's atmosphere is cool, great views, nice people. So, if you want fancy look elsewhere. Only complaint would be--the bed was hard and new pillows would be a plus.

Found under B&B with old prices so reservation price was a surprise. Did not come in contact with any employee, there was no breakfast, and no housekeeping. Found room not up to my idea of cleanliness with all dishes requiring rewashing to use them, a dirty ice bin, and lingerie under a nightstand!! As a positive the bed was comfortable and the location ok for my purposes. There is a pool and access to kayaks on the premises.

We are an Inn and all our rooms are suites and have a full kitchen with coffee, cream and sugar, and face the water, with queen size bed and queen size sofa bed, dining area, cable TV and free Wi Fi. Our rates include free use of our kayaks and Bicycles. Prices published on B&B are starting prices for double occupancy and depending on the day of week on or off season. As for housekeeping, we have 4 towels 2 beach towels per room and offer housekeeping, every other day or before upon request. We have 4 units and are available 24/7. We have restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance.... I am surprised, as we do strive in cleanliness and apologize for any misunderstanding. Thank you, G

Get off the main drag into an oasis...a Gilligan's Island of sorts...hard to leave. Stayed in an upper balcony room with a view...but the best spot is on the sandy palm tree area at the waters edge. A gem!

Unfortunately we only stayed here one night, we should have stayed longer. The room was large with a nice view to the bay and would be great for a week stay with well outfitted kitchen. The property has a laundry, soaking pool, BBQ and Kayaks that you can use at no additional cost. Small quiet hotel with four rooms, The manager was outstanding, very accommodating and made sure we had a great experience. There is a fantastic area on the point with a hammock and lounge chairs to watch the sunset or sunrise or just read a book. Only an hour from Miami International Airport.

A spontaneous stop proved to be my good fortune. Great location. Terrific view. My room had all the necessary amenities and was quite tidy and clean. I'm glad to have found the Tarpon Flats Inn. Hopefully, I'll return with the family in the future.

We stayed two nights. Imagine our surprise when we arrived back at the inn after a day touring the Upper Keys only to find an unmade bed, unemptied trash, and an uncleaned room. This was a first for either of us. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable.

Sorry about the misunderstanding regarding the housekeeping. We fully supply our room with 4 bath towels, 2 beach towels, all amenities, shampoo, soaps, moisturizer, etc. We do housekeeping every other day or upon request. Look forward to seeing you soon!
