Best customer service- Jay is awesome! She was super helpful right from the start. The townhouse was comfortable and homey. The dive boat was the best choice in Key Largo. They have a good truck with killer fish and shrimp tacos.
Jay was an excellent receptionist and did a good job explaining the hotel complimentary yo us! The resort was nice and gave us free coffee and tea in the morning. The room was pretty good and they did a good job decorating it, such as putting a swan shaped towel statue on the bed with roses, would recommend. Thanks a lot!
Captain's were excellent, took us to great dive sites even though the weather was a bit challenging we had great dives.. first mates were very helpful with gear and recommendations of things to see. Highly recommend the Amoray Dive Team.
Stayed 5 nights room 3A. Booked my Advanced open water certification course and other dives here...my instructor David and boat Captain G. Wonderful! Dives were so well explained, instruction relaxed and excellent. Boat is fantastic, easy to set up and helpful staff. Room: Bed a king, very cozy. Room very clean and simply appointed with lots of room to unpack, hang out on couch, eat at table which we never did, fridge took care of our beverages, microwave we never needed and coffee maker with all the condiments needed was well used! Quiet resort perfect for divers. Loved having my gear in their drying storage, no need to lug into car and figure out how to store so car does not smell or where to place in hotel room! Fabulous. Morning coffee and fruit ready at 7 pre dive. Pool, ocean beach area with steps down to swim. Kayaks and paddle boards to borrow. Wonderful sunsets. We have come to the keys to dive many times, this is the way to do it! We wanted to deep dive a wreck on our last day, they had to cancel it BUT scheduled us on another dive operator. How awesome is that. This is the only shop I know that would take care of you like that! Thanks for a great vacation!…
Everything and more than what I expected! Found on trip advisor and it was bingo…..struck gold. Staff ultra pleasant and accommodating. Rooms fresh. Bed and pillows excellent. Diving was top notch and crew 5 star. Captain G- consummate professional with engaging personality. Captain K and Kalen were tops as well. Jeff , the owner was very friendly and story telling made you feel like part of a family. THEY all contributed to the fun and relaxing experience at Amoray Dive Resort Kudos to all. Thanks a million.
We only stayed one night, BUMMER! When we arrived we were told we had a free upgrade from the original room we booked, LUCKY US!!! If you’re looking for a WOW room you need to book this waterfront. It was recently renovated, upstairs and had 2 bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathrooms had a luxurious rain shower which was so relaxing and adds a great touch. The first bedroom has a king bed and the second has 2 queens, plenty of space for a large family. The unit has little touches of sea life like a sea turtle cutting board and a seahorse handle for the barn door. There is also a private balcony looking at the bay and dive boat with a hammock and dinner table. The property itself is in a great spot to watch the sunset, but we enjoyed it from our room. Again, we didn’t stay or interact for long but the few staff members we ran into were very nice and informative. We look forward to returning!…
Great stay! We were only able to stay one night, but they made us feel like we had booked a week! Jay at check-in was efficient and welcoming, the dive team of Mike, Lauren and David were great, and the grounds were lovely. Loved the room (bed was very comfortable), and it was well appointed. We wish we had stayed longer and been able to enjoy the property more! Only thing they could address were the ants in our room. Bring some breakfast if you are diving- they have mini-fridges and keurigs in the room:-)
Front desk staff were helpful and kind. Our bed was so comfortable. Spacious room with a great view. Scenic views of the water. We loved sitting out on the dock that overlooked the water. There are dive tours you can book on the property.
Overall the resort was good. Comfortable rooms and nice staff. Enjoyed the pool and sunset from the beach/jetty. I had two issues with the hotel: 1) the light outside our room was perpetually on so it always felt like dawn even in the middle of the night. And no blackout curtains. 2) for an island with somewhat limited resources and based in conservation and nature I was disappointed by all the plastic (plastic containers and cutlery from on-site food truck, plastic cups in rooms, plastic toiletries) and NO RECYCLING! I found this very disturbing. I would stay here again if they would update to non-plastic or limited plastic in room cups and toiletries.
The staff were all very friendly and kind! Answering any and all questions. All with a smile on their faces! Our suite was very clean and well stocked! Beautiful view of the ocean from their private beach, and they had amazing trip add-ons for sunset cruises and snorkeling/diving trips!
