We stayed here for four days in the end of October/beginning of November. The place is pretty sweet. The location on the water is amazing, the tiki lounge down by the docks is a great place to bbq, relax and hang out with other guests (as well as the owners and guys and gals who work there) and the sailboats, kayaks, SUPs and everything else that's available for using make the place a pretty fun location for vacation. Like other reviews have stated - don't come here looking for fancy houses and luxury- everything's pretty basic but that's part of the charm of the place.

Fantastic!!!! Nothing like the Florida Keys lifestyle The cottages with the watercraft included give you the complete Keys Experience. Getting out on that beautiful water is what the Keys are all about Paul makes that very accessible. He & CJ are expert sailors and share their knowledge thoroughly with you for the most delightful & safe day of sailing you could possibly have!! He also directs you where you can anchor for the good snorkeling spots This is all right off his own waterfront (small but groomed clean pleasant sunset view) The cottages are all set up a little differently so be sure to check the website for pictures. We stayed in the smaller efficiency because that was available for pets Paul gives you full briefing in the morning before venturing out i.e. maps &

My husband and visited in mid-July, 2017. Had a great time - nice location, seemed to think of everything - cottage had thoughtful little extras (blender, toaster, hair dyer, salt/pepper, dish soap, beach & regular towels, and more) and had a cozy, inviting feel to it - was nice and clean and the table was beautifully set when we arrived. We stayed in the Captains Cottage and we loved it - had a view of beach via a lovely little sunroom that had a futon and dining table in it. The boats were in good working condition and also well-equipped - they had all the appropriate safety gear & all that was needed for sailing. The owner and staff were great - very responsive and helpful. We made use of the kayaks as well - there were nearby canals to kayak to and see manatees and we

We recently stayed here with our two teenage daughters and we all absolutely loved it! The cottage had exactly what we needed and the staff made us feel right at home. There is a great little place to eat, Mrs. Macs, within walking distance so you can park the car and never leave. Our girls said Paul, the owner, reminded them of a cool grandpa who let you stay at his place and use all his stuff- sailboats, paddle boards, kayaks, snorkel gear...It was fabulous.

We just spent a week here, with some friends, for my husband's retirement trip and made some new friends while there. What a beautiful place! It's very low key and laid back so if you're looking for the Marriott or Hilton....keep looking. This is exactly what we were looking for. Sailing, kayaking and paddle boarding and plenty of restaurants within walking and kayaking distance. It's also close enough to do a day trip to Key West, the Loop through the Everglades or a Deep Sea Fishing trip is Islanmorado. I would definitely recommend. The one and only drawback was in the Owners' Cottage - the bathroom is not fully closed in up to the ceiling so there is very little privacy but we made it work!

After looking at the negative reviews/complaints, I can understand why people would make these remarks: They're high maintenance. Luxury, this place is not. Comfortable and off the radar, this place is. After staying in the biggest house they offered, my family was more than satisfied. The house was clean, and as a guest here you clean up after yourself. It's only when you leave that a cleaning crew comes in to completely detail the place out. Everything worked and we had everything we needed to make meals and have a good time. Mrs. Macks Kitchen is right next door. Activities: Kayaking, paddle boats, and old sail boats along with a hut to hang out under. Kids can snorkel and play in the water while you hang out and have some cold beers. Up the street is Pennekamp park, and

We stayed in the in the owners cottage, close to the water and still private with patio etc. We loved it. We were mainly interested in sailing the sunfish and the hobie. Everyone was extremely helpful when we needed something and didn't bother us when we didn't. Key Lime Sailing Club will be our spot at least twice a year. We have stayed at four different places in Key Largo through the years....this was the best for us!

That's the only way to describe our stay. Michelle put us at ease immediately upon arrival. Her motto was " don't sweat it, relax, we'll make it easy for you". The captain's cottage was very accommodating for my wife and I. The kitchenette allowed for savings in our travel budget. We ate light breakfasts and burgers for lunch on the barbeque provided. A handy list of restaurants assured that our dinners would be memorable. Waking up to a view of the bay from our bed was priceless. We availed ourselves of the free provided SUP's, kayaks & snorkel fins. Being experienced sailors, the provided Catalina 22 was a bonus. The boat's condition was serviceable, about average for a charter bareboat. Trevor, the dockmaster, was always available for a helping hand. We sailed the bay and

My husband and I booked this trip because of the location and the availability of a sailboat. We are both experienced sailors and were dismayed to find our sailboat lacking in maintenance of the outboard engine and in the mechanism for the swing keel (it was rusty). The young man who helped us said he would find us another outboard engine or different boat so that we could take the boat out either later or on another day, but he never came back...no apology, no communication whatsoever.
