It was our first time to stay at the Kelime Sailing Club and Cottages. We had a very nice time at this little out-of-the-way resort. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The Cottages were clean and very retro and reminiscent of mid-century modern traveling. We will return to this Resort upon our next visit to the Florida Keys. Also, the sailing was great!

This is an old Keys style accommodations which we find has a certain charm. The structures are older, but they are clean and the property well maintained. I am working on building my sailing skills and the free use of the sailboats is what drew us here. The staff are helpful and accommodating. We have stayed twice and each time the staff were wonderful. Many of the boats now have new sails. We have joined the sailing club and so far have been having a great time! Beautiful sunsets, too! If you are looking for an updated resort like experience, then stay at the Marriott.

The sailboats included with this property are old but okay. The property itself is right on the water, but it's not really much of a "beach". Although they call themselves a resort, it's not a "resort" in the way one envisions a resort. It's an older, run-down cluster of cottages that used to be a men's fishing retreat; not much has been done to the cottages to change that. They are kept clean, but the owner can't (or won't) do anything to spruce them up to bring them up to modern standards. I have stayed at this property twice now within the past two years, and I wanted to give myself a second chance to like it, but I just can't justify spending my vacation dollars staying in these weird, hodge-podge cottages. A lot of guests don't really mind the funky, cheesy decor and

5 days at Key Lime Sailing Club left me wanting to stay for more! We stayed in the dolphin cottage. It was extremely clean and well equipped. At the Captains meeting we found out that we’d be on Aleena for the week. Can’t say more about that boat! Great memories! Jonathan was relaxed and helpful and Bob greeted us with a smile every day on our way out to the ball! Our choice as they are happy to bring your assigned boat into the dock. We sailed so much we didn’t have time to use any of the other fun water toys. We will be back. Maybe with the kids....if they are lucky!!
