Disappointing trip, but not for the common reason mentioned in other reviews. The music was actually not an issue at all. I am not sure if it is because of the time of the year we travelled (mid April-19) but the band was late and loud only on the Friday and Saturday nights and again on the Sunday afternoon. For the rest of the week, the band either stopped playing at 9:00 pm or there wasn't one playing at all. I guess we were lucky. The bad news started with my booking experience with the Registry Collection. When the week became available, I specifically asked which Unit # was being offered as there were a lot of terrible reviews about Unit #1 and I wanted to make sure that I wasn't getting that unit. After a bit of digging, the booking agent said that we were getting Unit 3 and because of this, I booked the week. When we got there, we were placed in Unit 1. Chris, the property manager was very friendly but was unable to move us as all of the other 5 units were booked for the entire week with other owners/guests. Trust me, unit #1 is as bad as all the other reviews have stated. 1) Right above the garbage holding area for the kitchen of the restaurant trolleys holding dozens of bags of garbage are being moved around at all hours of the day/night on a metal trolley with metal wheels. Sounds like a train leaving a station, not to mention all the staff that feel a need to talk with their loudest voices to each other while doing their work. No fault of them doing their jobs except that they are 15 feet directly beneath our balcony. 2) The delivery trucks for the restaurant arrive early in the morning and have to back up to be unloaded. Their unloading area is directly beneath the master bedroom and the "BEEP BEEP BEEP" of their reverse warning woke us up on a few occasions. 3) The main balcony is recessed on this side of the building, so the beautiful view is 75% lost by the balcony of the unit beside us, as well as by the trees and the thatched roof of the tiki bar in front of us. We did get a great sunset pic but had to go down to the pool to get it. I would presume that the views from the other units are as advertised, just not Unit 1. 4) The unit is wearing badly because of its age and the salt air (presumably). Shower drain in ensuite did not drain, even after a full bottle of Drano was used. Not fun showering in ankle deep water. The main sliding doors to the balcony did not lock. The safe did not lock. The dishwasher did not work properly. There were multiple scuffs and scrapes on the walls etc. Chris was very attentive to the issues, but there were too many of them to properly attend to without further disrupting our stay. 5) The Bar/Restaurant was barely ok. Very expensive plus a 18% mandatory tip was added to every bill making the staff not too accountable for their gratuity for serving mediocre food. i.e. Fish Taco's literally swimming in the water that they were caught from. It was not all negative though. The pool area was nice and there are dedicated cabana areas for guests of the units so that was very helpful as it got quite hot during the afternoon. The location is great, close enough to Miami and Key West for day trips. The staff were helpful and friendly as mentioned above. Summary is that the Registry Collection dropped the ball on my booking and that had a negative impact on our trip. As well, there is no way that Unit #1 should be offered out as an option for TRC guests as it is way below the expected standards of this program.

So planning for a family vacation and one where we'd be able to have all 3 generations of our crew together. We spent a huge amount of our points thru the Registry Collection, and did not get a good deal. Do NOT stay in residence #1!!! it's the closest to the bar (music is so loud). So when we got there we immediately went out on our balcony to look at the waters. The stench was so bad because below ours (and my in-laws) was where the bar/restaurant was keeping the garbage. The smell of being Florida in July was so bad, we could NOT even spend more than 3 minutes out there all week. I went to the on-site manager (Chris), and he didn't do ANYTHING, even when I told him that my father-in-law was just getting over being in the hospital. It was so bad they went home after just 2 days!!! The live music from the bar lasted way too long, and as in several other posts, too loud, even with the sliding doors closed. Welcome to 7 days of it every evening. The ice maker went out (or was never working), after 2 days of calling the management again, we finally got 2 bags of ice to last the next 5 days. There was no hot water in the kitchen sink, and no pressure throughout the 3 baths when the master shower was running or the washer downstairs. The rooms were nice, and overall some what an okay place, if we had been in another part of the complex (there's only 6 condos...you should ask for room 5 or 6.) For the amount of points that the Registry Collection charged, it was by FAR the WORST stay due to the trash, the SUPER POOR service from the onsite management (yes like in some of the other posts, if you're NOT an owner of theirs, they treat you like crap!), and overall not a place to revisit!!! #Registry Collection #Hilton Grand Vacations

We were very lucky to book this as an exchange in The Registry Collection, looked at the beautiful pictures (all accurate) and disregarded the online reviews of the loud music. First the good. The unit was gorgeous, high-end, well appointed, spacious, clean, and had fabulous & mesmerizing views. The management team, although we did not meet, was very helpful and accommodating, even making a room change for us after Day 1. The location is perfect. Now the bad. Everything you read about the music is true. We are not old fuddy-duddies, but enough is enough!! At first it was okay as it was very tropical and actually good music; however, after about four hours (with breaks), we'd had enough and then the music continued until midnight. If I want to go to a bar and listen to music that's fine and all in good fun. However, when I'm trying to converse with guests in my own condo and can barely hear each other, cannot hear the TV, and the sliding glass doors are shaking that's excessive. We were moved to another unit Day 2, one unit farther away, and it made no difference. Due to an unforeseen family emergency we were forced to leave after our second night; however, I'm not sure I would have stayed another night anyway. Unfortunately, the live entertainment is seven nights a week. We used a lot of points to make this exchange and although the unit itself is fabulous, the live music next door is not tolerable. If you're looking for a peaceful place this is not it.

I highly recommend this property. We got lucky enough to get the place over Christmas and had a great week (3 adult children). the Big Chill is KEY (get it?). The live music every night was really fun. Right on the water. One of the bands finished with Sweet child of mine and Whole lotta love! The food is very good(not fine dining) and the staff is friendly (shout out to Mike- have fun in telluride). They have jet boot riding on site . The pool is fairly quiet and the bar wait staff will bring you food and drink. There is a nice sports bar on site. Inside dining too if weather is bad( we had perfect weather all week). The kitchen is nicely stocked with blender, cutting boards, pitcher, coffee maker, huge fridge, champagne glasses. There is a nice gas grill on the upper level , where there is a nice view and a hot tub. Immediately next door is senior frijoles, another sports bar , and sundowners which is excellent waterside dining. Immediately on the other side of the property is the Caribbean club which is fun late night. Massive flat screen in the room too. No Jimmy sightings though... OH WELL .

We had an Amazing visit. This Condo was impeccable. Everything you needed. Beautifully decorated. Great Location. Yes the music was loud, however being on vacation we sat on the balcony and enjoyed the music and sang along to the "Jimmy Buffet" songs :) The view was second to none, Priceless. From the balcony we saw baby sharks, Stingray and a Manatee :) I had my cousins over from Aussie and they couldn't take it all in. They can't stop talking about it. We had great weather. Sharon was very helpful, Thank you !! Cant wait to go back.

Our stay was spectacular. From the jaw dropping view to the beyond Awesome customer service. Every moment was fantastic. Sharon and Chris were so helpful with local information and day trip contacts, to facilities questions to providing anything we requested to make our stay welcoming and unforgettable. The food at the restaurant is super tasty and the servers and bar tenders are just out of this world. Amanda checked on outs frequently to be sure we were enjoying our stay and had the food service part completely covered. I can't possibly provide words to express how impressed and thrilled we were with our vacation accommodations. Trip of a lifetime.

We ate on the deck. Beautiful view, good service, reasonable pricing, and good food! The wood oven pizza was excellent as was the hogfish sandwich. We were entertained by barracuda, blue crabs, and many minnows swimming by.

Three couples in three bedroom/three bath. Very clean, beautiful decor, great balcony view. Master bedroom/bath and downstairs bedroom/bath great. Other bedroom on main floor, the bed was double size instead of queen so miserable all week for couple in this room. All beds very high - all couples in 60's and 70's and some back and/or hip problems so very hard to get on beds. What I would call "guest" room on main floor, bed needs replaced as just getting in and every turn over by either person creaked horribly -made for restless sleeping. "Guest" bath was across the hallway from "guest" bedroom which made it inconvenient for that couple and it also just had free standing pedestal sink so no where to lay toiletries, makeup, etc. Then there was the music at nighttime from the Tiki Bar.. It BLASTED until 11 every night - could not hear each other talk or hear TV unless turning it up louder than music. This was a one time vacation week to Key Largo so can't say we won't stay again because of the one bedroom or music. We loved the view. The afternoons were great . The beautiful view, gorgeous decor and impeccably clean were worth the rental.

The fractional share units are absolutely beautiful - the interior decorators did an outstanding job. The views are beautiful as well, as the property is perched right on the water. Somewhat jaw-dropping when you first take in the view. If you can tolerate absolutely BLASTING loud music until 11 pm, you will have a great time. Otherwise, bring lots of Tylenol as they have live music (which at first we thought would be nice) playing immediately next to the units, louder than any human could tolerate ... The property manager tries to convince you that the windows are soundproof - I don't think she has ever spent time in the units while the music blasts, as you cannot escape it. But the worst part of the experience was the attitude of the manager on site - so completely rude and un-hospitable. She made us and our guests feel very uncomfortable, reminding us that we were not owners - and as such she did not have to do ANYTHING to help us. It was the most odd experience, as if she was doing us a favor by letting us stay (we traded our vacation home for a week there). It's a shame, because otherwise this property could be quite nice (even with the blasting music). Would never go back until new management is in place, and would caution prospective visitors that if they visit this property, to not count on any on-site assistance at all - know where you want to go, what sites, attractions, etc... as you will probably not get a warm welcome!

The unit is huge! The rooms are spacious. The entire place is clean. The kitchen is amazing. The view is the best part! You can see the entire ocean. Its a very classy and upscale resort. This is a great place to vacation. I cant wait to go back! There's a great restaurant/bar downstairs. At night, the pool bar has a live band. You may hear "Devin" and his band. They are really talented and play great music. (not sure what the name of the band is). There's also great restaurants nearby-Fish house is great. Sundowners (i think thats the name) directly next door has really good food too. The view there is awesome. Just two small issues--one, no curtains in our unit (in the living room). I think the others do have them though. Also, at night, the band music is pretty loud. If you have small children, you may want to bring a white noise machine or put them in the front bedrooms so they wont be disturbed by the noise. The band plays until about 11 during the week and maybe later (like 1am) on Sats.
