A beautiful oasis in Key Largo. The resort is small and quiet with a fabulous pool and dock area from which you can enjoy the sunset.
We stayed in the airstream cabin which was fun, quirky, and very clean. If you are taller (>6 ft) you may find the shower a bit cramped. Parking is gate controlled and very secure.
We were surpried to receive a free breakfast basket at 10am as it wasn't mentioned at check in.

Our party of 4- myself, my husband, our 16 year old daughter and her friend stayed in the Serenity Bungalow- a beautiful, well appointed room that fit all of us comfortably. The resort has an infinity pool and bikes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards for use. The grounds of the resort are impeccably maintained and very private. The fellow guests of the resort were a pleasure, and Doug the Manager was very friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for a place to unplug and relax, this is your slice of paradise! 🌴

We had the most amazing time and experience. Lana our concierge was such a huge help, extremely knowledgeable, helpful, she just always went above & beyond. The bed was comfortable, the view and scenery was tranquil and serine. All amenities where open and available, paddle boarding and kayaking. The room was extremely clean and modern. Even though we came during the pandemic it was a great choice because the resort is private, we felt alone on an island. We wanted to extend our stay but there East any rooms available only seven in the resort. However, I’m sure we will be back. I have nothing bad to say about this place it surpassed both our expectations and more. Thank you to the owners of this beautiful hideaway the Asian theme was perfect and calming... your staff were extremely helpful. Lana was just the best’ thank you so much for your hospitality!

This hidden gem is beautiful. The gardens and Bali styling are amazing! The pool is gorgeous, but we could barely stand to be at the pool for 2 days due to an obnoxious family with out of control children. The resort should set a limit for kids 12 and up. Everything about this small, quiet place is geared towards serenity & relaxation, but when a rambunctious family turns it in to Chuck E Cheese, there’s no room in the smell location to escape the madness. When this crew finally left, we were so excited for a quiet day at the pool...and then a yard crew did HOURS worth of leave blowing on the property. It was really frustrating and disappointing. The other issue is comfort. The pool lounge chairs were really uncomfortable, the chairs in the “living room” in the bungalows are hard and uncomfortable, and my husband & I struggled with the very soft mattress (but some people love that). I would definitely have a wedding here & invite my family to fill the resort, but if you are coming on your own, your trip is only as good as your neighbors, unfortunately.

Response from Largo Resort, General Manager at Largo Resort
Responded 4 Apr 2021
Hello Jinny, thank you for choosing our resort for your stay and for taking time and reviewing your experience. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed our style and the gorgeous grounds and I'm so sorry about the loud family with small children that disturbed your piece. I also want to apologize for the inconvenience caused by the landscaping crew. We have yearly contract with them and we made our schedule months in advance and unfortunately it fell on the day you was staying and relaxing by the pool. On a good note, I'm so happy to hear that you would choose us as a wedding venue and I hope you will give us another chance in the future! Lana

This is a great place to stay if you're going to Key Largo. My wife and I stayed here with our 13 year old son last week. It's conveniently located and the grounds are beautiful. The pool is very nice and every afternoon we hung out with iguanas as we got some sun. The kayaks and paddle words were a nice perk also. Since there isn't a bar or resteraunt at the resort be sure to hit up a grocery store and stock the fridge in your room with canned drinks to take to the pool. There's a Publix just a few minutes away by car. Also a Winn Dixie about 5 minutes away. While the grounds are very peaceful if you want a totally quite experience be sure to get a room close to the pool. We had the Sunrise cabana, which is close to the entry/exit, and the noise from the road was obvious as we sat on the patio every morning drinking our coffee. Most of the staff we're friendly and professional. But the lady that checked us in the day we arrived was not overly friendly and when we needed another form to let the cleaning staff know what we needed (you fill it out to request towels, coffee, etc.) later in our stay she basically told me she didn't have one and for me to get one the next day. The next day a guy that was in the office went and got one for me. While the grounds are lovely the bungalow we stayed in needed a face lift. ALL of the bathroom fixtures (towel pegs and toilet paper holders) were loose or missing. And the TV in the living area was hung crooked. The biggest thing however were the chairs in the living area where you would watch TV. They looked like they were intended for outdoor use and were very uncomfortable. There's definitely enough room for a couch so I'm assuming it as cost saving measure to put the chairs in there. Whenever we requested house keeping it was well done. Over all this is a great place to stay but if they addressed a few minor repairs it would be even better.

An absolute (and quite literally) hidden gem, this is the only place we will ever stay in Key Largo from now on. If you are looking for peace, quiet, and tranquility in a beautiful setting, Largo Resort is exactly that and more. We stayed in the Serenity bungalow and decided it was our favorite for its location set exactly in the middle of all the bungalows. It was the perfect distance from the pool and the parking, which was both convenient and quiet, though with so few guests allowed here noise was never an issue. All the bungalows are identical on the inside, very well appointed, and absolutely gorgeous. The absolute highlight of the bungalow is the rainfall shower head. It’s just simply divine. You may never want to leave the beach but you’ll also equally not want to leave this shower.

As noted, there is no restaurant on property. This did not bother us in the least! There are so many restaurants to experience nearby. (We highly recommend Harriette’s for breakfast and Calusa for dinner at sunset - see our reviews and recommendations for those as well!) Do not let the lack of a restaurant here be a reason you cross this resort off your list. On the contrary, it made our experience better because the only people allowed inside the gates are the guests and this made for a much more intimate and private experience without the added tourists or locals coming and going at all hours.

There is a small fridge and freezer in the room plus dishes and silverware. Bring your own drinks and snacks and get off property for your big meals. Largo Resort does offer bottles and cans of wine at the office as well as coffee in room. There is a Starbucks nearby as well.

Everyone working at the resort, particularly Javier, was amazing! Javier brought ice and extra coffee on more than one occasion and took our trash with a smile! They keep the grounds impeccable and beautiful, full of lush plants, trees, orchids, and a few resident iguanas. We highly recommend designating at least one full day (or your entire stay) just staying at the resort to enjoy the peace and tranquility of it all. You’ll definitely feel like you’ve escaped to a remote island and never want to leave.

Honestly I wanted to cancel when I realized after I booked they had no food or bar, but all the reviews were great and from visiting the keys all these years I have a lot of favorite restaurant to visit to get my food and drinks. This is paradise from the minute you pass the gate onto the lushes beautiful landscape. The bungalows are perfectly thought out spacious and clean. We live in Miami this is a hour and twenty minutes from our house what a difference this place is so peaceful and quite hardly no one here and there are only 7 bungalows. They have bikes, kayak and paddle boards set up to use for free the best part is they don’t charge a crazy daily parking fee either. Totally revisiting this place again

We rented out the resort for our wedding weekend and stayed 4 nights at this beautiful oasis. Lana and the entire staff were amazing and so helpful. Lana greeted the guests as they arrived, gave them each a tour of the facilities and showed them personally to their rooms. Everyone said all their rooms were extremely clean and comfortable! There are staff working on the grounds explaining the amenities (bikes, kayaks/paddle boards), snorkel equipment, etc) and keeping the place looking immaculate. Even going the extra mile to serve us up some fresh coconuts (thanks Steve)!! I could go on and on about how beautiful this place was and how happy I am to have been married there. It was the best weekend of my life and I cannot wait to come back!!

WOW! We booked last minute, after a cancelled cruise. Wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful pool area. Spacious bedroom and bath. Very quiet and secluded. Quaint pier area, great for sitting and relaxing. Quiet air conditioner in room. Some USB ports. Only downside is the chairs in the room were not very comfortable. Love the little area outside our door for sitting outside. Could use a couple towel bars to hang the towels from the bathroom, the hooks just don't dry the towels out.

We stayed a week at the Largo Resort in the Grand Lodge and it went beyond our expectations. Great private/quite location, friendly staff and wonderful accommodations.

Very nice pool with vanishing edge design...very relaxing.

Additionally we brought in Chef Drew (Chef Drew Catering) and Chef David every night to cook a gourmet meal in the professional Grand Lodge kitchen...just spectacular and highly recommend.

Largo Resort is on the beach with beautiful sunsets only seen in the Keys. Lots of restaurants around the lodge, best for us was the Catch and The Fish House.

We will definitely return...thank you for all the great service.

Answer from Largo Resort
Hi Jen, We do offer complimentary coffee in all Bungalows, however there is no restaurant on site. we do however have restaurants walking distance from the resort along with others within a mile both North and South of our property, also there is a Publix Store about a mile of the resort as well.
