This property has been reviewed as in need of repair since 2020, peeling paint, no microwaves in rooms, housekeeping issues and my stay was June 2022. I experienced a room that the newly installed carpet was damp due to a malfunctioning refrigerator, then froze my food at the min setting. Nasty bathroom and tub conditions, no stopper in the sink, peeling paint, doors in need of repair but a bigger issue is that multiple bus loads of teens arrive each night! The poorly supervised groups run the halls, knock on doors, prank phone calls, pull the fire extinguishers, scream Marco Polo in the pool making a marina room a TOTAL waste of money. It was like staying at the Hampton Inn during a sporting tournament. I'm a Titanium Elite member and used points for my stay -- this kind of thank you for brand loyalty I could have done without. In fact I cut my stay a day short. I'm so tired of management blaming covid -- when during covid you could have employed someone to fix these tired rooms or as a management staff done it yourself. It appears that your management responses since 2020 indicate you will give this items some attention --- if TWO YEARS isn't enough time when?…
I am titanium for life with Marriott I have stayed at over 250 properties. This is the single worse one! It is an absolute dump. There is some pipe that drips cold water into the shower. The doors and trims are all beat up. There is some recycling sorting faculty next door that makes god awful noises (I could go on and on). I booked here because I had points. I regret it and and embarrassed to have had my family here. Marriott needs to deflag this pit!
This Courtyard is old, rundown, and needs work. We have Titanium Elite status, but the acknowledgment was all we received. No complimentary upgrade, welcome gift, nor late checkout. The hotel is on the marina across from Skippers Dockside, but still a drive away. Only a Circle K is accessible by walking. The lobby average and appears to be like most Courtyards with a Starbucks bistro. However once you get to the room, it’s a whole other story. Where do I start… stained popcorn ceiling, curtain for a closet door, loud AC, thin walls, music can be heard from Skippers. SMH. Pool towels are sparse so we had to ask the Front Desk clerk. The pool felt heated, but the spa was close to the same temperature with jets that barely worked. Check out is at 11am, but the maids tried to open our door at 9am. The bathroom is tight where the door closely opens to the toilet & hits the shower rod as a stopper. The fixed North 39 shampoo, wash, & conditioner in the shower functioned even with the pump end broken off. This Courtyard’s only selling point is it’s location. We will not be returning.…
Staff are very pleasant and helpful, location is great. Room is pretty good, but some aspects are very worn or old, like the bottom edges of doors and other items that really make the place look shabby.
I stayed in the hotel with my mom and my son. The cockroaches were everywhere. I saw two in the bathrooms, two on the table and one even came to my bed. How disgusting! My son was already asleep, so I didn’t ask to change a room. I couldn’t sleep the whole night because I was worried that cockroaches came to the bed again. DON’T BOOK THIS HOTEL!
We enjoyed the view from our hotel room. Looking out over the water and the marina of beautiful large boats. Seeing the fire pit in the sand. The room was not as clean as I had expected, it was a bit dingy and in need of some updates.
Hardly any friendly staff. Housekeeping is a nightmare. Left our room untouched three times checked in to an unmade bed. Very tired building and rooms. No coffee during the day. I wasted 280k points on this place. Don’t stay here if you want what you expect from a Marriott Courtyard. Worst Marriott that I have ever stayed at.
stayed recently for one night. rooms were clean as well as the common areas. staff was pleasant. the rooms do need a refresh and a paintjob. very nice outdoor areas to sit and hang out. not a ton of dining options within walking distance though.
We based ourself her for a week at the start of February 2022. The location was ideal for exploring the keys and the greater Miami Area. 2 hours south to Key West and 1 hour north to Miami. The hotel was clean and well presented, ample parking, public areas were always clean and the staff were very pleasant. Nice sized pool area, hot tub and a small man made beach with a Tiki Hut to provide shade. Plenty pool towels available. It has an on site laundry which was great for us since we were travelling with kids and meant we didn't have to bring loads of clothes. Near by and walkable were several restaurants, stores and you usual Subway and Starbucks etc. within a 10 minute drive there were loads a great places to eat. The room which we were allocated which had a balcony and overlooked the Marina was very clean. All in we had a great time and i certainly stay here again.…
I travel to the Keys often for business and I feel safe in this property. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is good and staff is amazing! I want to give a shout out to Lakelia at the front desk who has always been a pleasure to deal with, Jeannie and Kathy at the bistro with their delicious food and Janet in housekeeping who makes sure my room and requests are met. If you need anything, know that the staff will go out of their way to accommodate you.
