We stayed at the Shamrock Apartment rentals for 1 week at the DORAL location. It was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, full kitchen, dining area, patio, washer and dryer! The apartment was nice, clean and roomy! Excellent value for the price we paid! Definitely a better option than booking a hotel, the cost would have been "Triple the Price" at a hotel! From now on we will only stay with Shamrock Rentals Maria Hernandez, Yira Robles and Michelle Delgado the leasing consultants were very prompt with email details from start to finish and they worked hand in hand! The only thing I would suggest is they have their own emails. All emails came from Michelle Delgado's account but the communication was with Yira Robles and then with Maria Hernandez with there signature at the bottom. That was the only way I knew who I was speaking with. All in all, I had an amazing stay and enjoyed spending time with my daughter who lives in Miami and is the Private Dining Director at a well known establishment! She was extremely happy as well and said "Shamrock Rentals" Maria, Yira & Michelle will be her go to for her extended stay clients and family when her establishment is not available! I'm looking forward to my next stay in May with Shamrock Rentals!

We rented a 3 bedroom apartment at Shamrock. We had a total of 9 people, 3 families. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but once you go inside a totally different story. Very nice, clean and plenty of room. Nice size kitchen with all of the items you need to cook a full meal. (It could use some cookie sheets, and long pans). Large living room/dining area. Nice patio. Large king size bedroom with full bath, and large closet. The other two bedroom (twin beds) were plenty big, and each room had a tv. We had plenty of room for everyone. It was worth the money. I would recommend this place if you're staying for a while. It's convenient to all shopping areas. I also like that it's gated, felt more secure, especially with my grankids. And of course they loved the pool.

We just came back from a one week stay in a two bedroom deluxe apartment. It was our home away from home. The apartment is fully furnished with many amenities such a dish washer, washer and dryer, electric stove, microwave, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and other up-to-date appliances. The pool was practically empty each time we went. Stores and restaurants are easily accessible. We would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of room and storage space. The apartment was clean but the carpet was absolutely disgusting. Furniture desperately needed replacing and updating. Nice big king size bed and the kitchen was well stocked. Nice and quite. The staff was very helpful and nice.

My husband and I found this apt on the VRBO site. It was close to where my son lives and therefore we weren't driving back and forth to Miami Downtown as we could easily take the Metro from North Dadeland Station. The staff was friendly and the apt was clean and stocked with most of the needed items for a week's stay. They have a small exercise room and a pool (Though when we were there last week a rude, loud and obnoxious family was ruining our time at the pool. But, I guess you run into that everywhere.) Our apt was at the end of the building (#1) so it was quiet and we found it to be quite comfortable. For the price it can't be beat-we paid a bit over $100 a night! There are several good restaurants in the area and tons of shopping. And while we didn't bring our large dog this time, we will next time. We saw people with large and small dogs walking outside on most days, yet it was very quiet in the complex. The complex was fairly well taken care of and it was a gated community so we felt safe while we were there. It's a good place to stay if you don't want to pay the high charges in Miami Beach or Downtown. It's not fancy, but modern and nice. I'd stay there again.

We learned of this hotel a few years back when a friend lived here for several months. It was great! They provide the silverware, plates, even toilet paper! Parking is not a problem. The location is great and you're located in the heart of Miami's Kendall district. It really is an apartment home with all the commodities. Front Desk staff is pretty great, too. Will definitely stay here again

Four adults stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment. The location was handy for all tourist places but you do need your own transport. The apartment itself was very clean, comfortable and most of all secure. Jira at reception was fabulous and could not have done enough for us. We has a great tome and would stay again

We stayed at Kendall Shamrock for 8 weeks while in Miami for medical treatment. The location is suburban and really requires a car; Avis is less than a mile away and will pick up at Shamrock. This location is convenient to the Florida Turnpike for travelers wanting to go to various tourist attractions by car. The kitchen and laundry facilities provide the ability to live like at home not a hotel. The kitchen has enough equipment to fix simple healthy meals on your time schedule. There are many restaurants within a mile or two, some which deliver. There are 3 Publix markets within two miles. The gated property provides reassuring security. The most important advantage to the Kendall Shamrock location is the staff. The office has someone on duty 7 days a week, even on holidays, unlike the other condo units I checked. All of the office and grounds staff were helpful and friendly. They responded to all my needs right away. As our medical treatment extended for more time, luckily we were able to continue to stay as they extended our contract(this was possible on a space available basis and might not always be true). The staff provided great local information to all my inquiries. If you need lodging for an extended short stay, Shamrock Rentals is a better solution than a hotel or a regular condo rental.

We stayed here for a month when we moved to Miami and had to look for housing. The place looks much nicer on the website and we were disappointed when we pulled up because it looks like a motel. We opened the door and it looked all right initially, but then I noticed it smelled of cigarette smoke. I am allergic to smoke and we also had our 5 month old baby with us! Since it was the evening, there was nothing we could do. I woke up the next day with a sore throat. I had sent the manage(Betty) an email the night before and she did come by the next morning and offer another apartment. It was a major pain to have to relocate, but the other apartment was smoke-free. It was especially frustrating as we have 4 cats and had to pay $150 PER CAT extra in cleaning! Initially they wanted us to pay $200 PER cat extra. How can you advertise as being pet-friendly and then charge such exorbitant fees?! Six hundred extra dollars for four cats! (initially a whopping $800!). We were also terrified of breaking anything as there is a binder listing every item and how much it costs if it is damaged (even charging $1 if something happens to the place mat...). Despite paying an extra cleaning fee, we cleaned the apartment when we left because we were so scared of being charge. You can't really walk anywhere (which sucks when your husband is at work with your one car). THE GOOD: There is a full kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave) and a washer and dryer (the washer and dryer is why we picked this place over other hotels in the area). Several restaurants and stores are in driving distance. There is a pool. It is a gated community (you need a code to get in). Free and plentiful parking. Free Wi-Fi and free local phone calls. We had to pay a large deposit ($600), which was supposed to be refunded in 15 working days. We moved into our new home, my husband got busy with work, we had visitors... A month later I happened to ask if we got our deposit and he looked at me and said, "[Expletive], we didn't!". He emailed Betty and got a reply that she no longer works there (which is a shame, as she was very friendly and helpful). It took several more days and then they mailed us a check (it would have been more convenient for them to reimburse the credit card). I would try not to stay here again, but choices are limited in the Miami area if you have pets. It's not a horrible place; I think we just had a bad experience.

We stayed 2 nights at Shamrock in a beautiful apartment, chosen because of its proximity to the Everglades and its easy access from the turnpike and then on to the Keys. The condo was a delight, and the staff had thought of everything we might need, and added all the little touches that you need home from home. Each of the 2 bedrooms had en suite bathrooms, and the quality of the furnishings was first class. The complex is a gated community and has a lovely pool, and there was free wifi. The office staff were among the most helpful and friendly that we have ever encountered, guiding us to both tourist venues for the Everglades, and advising on the best malls etc. The price was very reasonable, costing significantly less than a decent chain of hotels (to the casual visitor anyway) whilst giving so much more space and privacy. We ate at Flanigans 300 yards away, which was superb too. All in all, I really can not recommend these condos highly enough!!
