We have been staying here for years. The rooms are great. Only disappointment was the breakfast you can't call it hot, only sausage even the eggs are cold hard boiled. I really miss the hot waffle. Also the shampoo is terrible
Excelente customer service . Very clean hotel . Beautiful view (Lagoon) good condition bout its structure. Good breakfast. I feel good and relax here. I will come back I liked the shuttle free to the airport
So let's start with the things that actually were ok. We had no complaints on the room itself. It was ok in all aspects. The location is also a plus, only a 10 minute drive from the airport. However, we arrived one day late due to change of our flights. We tried contacting the Hotel several months ahead of our arrival in two different ways, e-mail from their site and by responding to a message they sent in some system. No reply from either, and upon arrival when we asked they apparently don't read any of these. When we checked in we were informed that they would make a reservation on my credit card which would then be returned to us on checkout. It wasn't. According to their logs we had only paid half of our room, when we in fact had paid everything (and even higher rates than what they had in their system) in advance and they had just mixed something up, perhaps our booking with another booking. I'm still trying to get that 75 USD "deposit" back, but no answer so far... Another disaster is the breakfast. We always book hotels with breakfast to get a good start of the day and don't have to look for food the first thing we do. The breakfast here, when served at all, is very, very limited and not worth the designation breakfast. The second day there was no breakfast served at all. We waited for an hour. They promised us compensation, but the card they had on file isn't ours, so I guess we'll never see that compensation either. The service mindedness of the staff varies a lot.…
We stayed here before taking a cruise in November of2021. It had very reasonable rates in a safe area. The rooms were extra clean and they have a very nice continental breakfast. There are a variety of restaurants within a short driving or walking distance. The front safe was very pleasant and they have a nice outdoor pool
Stayed at a few La Quinta's before but my first-time experiencing theft or impersonal service. Made a report but no one seems to care, I still haven't gotten an apology or a response from management. You get what you pay for is an understatement... no one pays to travel or stay anywhere to be robbed. I intentionally kept my DND sign on my room so no one would enter being that I knew I had valuables and no safe was provided in my room. While packing my stuff the night before I realized that two of my sprays were missing and cash ($700.00) was missing. Called down to the desk the night before leaving, and the agent just said that she could not help and that I will have to speak with the manager in the morning. Went down for checkout and no manager was available so I left my details with the agent at the desk who then offered for me to call the police, but I was heading to the airport to catch an international flight so I didn't have the time to wait for the police and make a report.…
Packages returned without notice to the guest. There is no disclosure in the web site for Wyndham, La Quinta or anything that will tell the guest the consequences of receiving parcels. No options given to the guest like extra charge per packages. Rejected packages just because.
I use this hotel and recommend it to friends and clients who need a night before a cruise or flight from Ft. Lauderdale. It is in the process of being remodeled with fresh paint in rooms and new carpeting as well as redesigned breakfast are with many outlets for electronics. Rooms have coffeemakers (my new must have), microwaves & mini fridges. Close to s hopping & restaurant area. The only thing that would help would be shuttle transportation to that area. Parking is $30 for up to 10 days which is perfect for most cruises.
No problems, great location, super nice bed, and bedding. Great for a cruise out of Ft Lauderdale. A single elevator, but the cab is larger than normal is a small minus, Clean and well-kept are the exception in hotels nowadays. This is both clean and well kept. Breakfast eh?
The exterior of the hotel looks nice, but the interior def need major upgrade from the lobby appearance, front desk, the guestrooms, the sticky carpet, the bathrooms, the rusted and rattling elevators, doors, etc.
Reservation through Wyndham. Shows Bus/Truck Parking Front desk stated that she will call to have any oversized vehicle towed from the dirt lot adjacent to the property. Very poor customer service. Stay at the Hilton-Garden Inn. Next exit and great welcoming
