We had a VERY bad experience. The room was very small and we found left over food for previous guests. The bathroom is SO SMALL. The area is the very bad: drunk people and junkies all around and the outside light from the hallway goes right into your bed. We stayed 1 night and paid for 7. Their website and promo here says flexible cancellation: THAT IS NOT TRUE! They did not returned a dollar. We lost 750$ We left after the first night and paid a GREAT hotel in Coconut Grove for $560 This place is a trap
We started the stay off pretty well-the front desk allowed us to keep our luggage behind the front desk. However, we arrived at 12:30 pm, they told us they would call us when the room was ready but never recieved a call, we just checked in at 4:00pm. The room was cute, but did smell moldy just as other reviews had pointed out. It had a full kitchen with the perfect sized firdge-big enough to keep drinks and leftovers but not too big. It had a full kitchen with plates and utensils-make sure you wash them before you use them, they were covered in gunk when we arrived. The shower was decent-the actual handle was faulty and it was a struggle to get the water hot or turn it off. Not a big deal once we figured out how it worked. Beds were comfy and room had basic cable. Housekeeping was great-always got sand out of our room each day we left. However, we stayed for 4 nights and our sheets never got changed. You're truly paying for the AMAZING location. It was a simple walk right onto the beach and boardwalk and you could see margaritaville from the hotel which was truly where you want to be on the boardwalk. It was awesome to be able to stop at the room whenever needed-between lunch and the beach or even to go to the bathroom while relaxing on the beach. The tiki bar is not open, but we weren't mad as our room was right off the lobby. All in all, it is a cute, quieter place right off the boardwalk. If you don't plan on spending much time in the room and more on the beach, this place is PERFECT!!…
Checked in, 5 minutes later I went down to the bar and restaurant listed. CLOSED... during spring break? Everything else is open? Check in is at 4pm... checked in at 4:30... once discovered the bar and restaurant was closed I told the “front desk” girl that was smoking out front “I have no need to stay here...”. She time me theres “no refund for early checkout”.... I wasn’t there for 10 minutes. After she told me the bar and restaurant were closed. $229 is lot of money for a tiny 1950’s size room. I was willing to overlook their isn’t a pool... but if the bar and restaurant aren’t open as listed?
Just steps off the Broadwalk, this place is set up for a condo-type stay. It is small and cute and our units were clean. They don't provide coffee, filters or condiments, so bring your own. There isn't an ice machine, so bring your own. They aren't really set up for one or two nighters. There are picnic tables between buildings and outdoor showers. One disappointment was that the little palapa bar wasn't open - a covid thing I guess. They have parking for $21 per night and that is probably a bargin in this area. Convenient to all things Broadwalk.
We chose this based on reviews, photos, location. While the location is great the rooms not so much. They were musty, dark, and we had sand on the floor and feces on the toilet from previous guests. The bathrooms are very tin. I’m an averages sized female and it was difficult to get in the sliding shower doors. I’m not sure how anyone larger could get in and out. The tiki bar isn’t open either so they should have that posted on their site. We left and went down the road to the Marriott.
