Where to begin with the steaming pile of crap that is this hotel. Non one who works there knows what they are doing. NO ONE. Some low lights. 1) Gambled for 8 hours - black jack $50 a hand avg bet - comp dollars $0. When I asked why they told me I need to go to players club IN PERSON. I live in the Northeast. 2) Hotel is not safe. Lots of bad characters around - actually almost got in a fight at black jack table and dealer + pitboss did NOTHING. 3) no cleaning of your room - using covid as an excuse even for fully vaccinated guests 4) check in process takes forever 5) very over priced for what you get. 6) Again, the customer service is just the worst I have ever experienced. Booked a few rooms for me and some friends, spent hours on the phone with these people and always got a different answer. Only positive was the cabana - but be careful as there are lots of hidden charges in there. Was told the 1k in food / beverage was included in the cabana cost. This is not true.

We visited stayed here in October, and now in May ...its a cool hotel...opulent decor...some Covid restrictions are less now...now you can get a drink and walk about the casino or hotel with it in a plastic cup...you could not in October...you can bring drinks, coffee etc. to the Guitar Pool area...We were two sisters, who requested a double bed room, and we were denied, just like in October...I found out from a worker there that the rooms with 2 beds are given to families and multiple persons...if you are 2, you are not getting a double bed room, you have to get a cot in the room unless you want to share a king bed....the pool area is quite small compared to the old Rock pool area...it seems that they dedicated a ridiculously huge area to paddle board, and made the pool much smaller...shame...it should have been the other way around, but what's done is done...almost impossible to get chairs at pool, unless you start standing on line to get into the pool before it opens...good little pool bar...on the weekend we just got our drinks there because the wait time for someone to bring drinks or close out a bill is crazy long...I feel bad for the staff, they work so hard, but there is not enough staff for this pool area...they do the best they can with a smile...I do want to mention Wilson at the pool...he helped find us chairs when we couldn't find any...seems like many people claim chairs, and don't use them till hours later...pool could have be warmer, was kind of chilly....make reservations weeks ahead of time for Kuro, Cipresso, Council Oak...you will not be able to just walk in to those 3 restaurants...we walked into Hard Rock...not many restaurants open on Mondays...They do a good job of controlling smoke at Casino...the filtration system seems to have improved...one little perk is the Rise restaurant...great breakfast, great wait staff...and they are open 24/7 ....if you want a late night ice cream you can get it there...the gelato place closes so early...I think they have a great niche place there..and its under rated for sure...we just walked up to Maitre D and asked if we could get ice cream to go and he said he would make it happen...yum...all bars open...can just walk up...no wait list this time...Hard Rock Cafe has increased its prices, and their food is much smaller portions...Cipresso is great...Kuro great...eh for the Hard Rock...pool food seemed a little better...overall a good stay, with some minor annoyances, but its getting better !!

Stayed at the Guitar on 2 separate stays this trip. We wanted to stay at Guitar because my mother in law wanted to try it out. Have e.njoyed our previous stats in the old building Asked for a double room on a higher floor with a pool view .. confirmed tge request... not a problem.. got to the room and it was a king on a low floor facing the garage . There were 3 of us.. called the desk.. themamager was to busy to take the call and told that was all they has.. they did send up a cot. Room was nothing special. Getting water is like pulling teeth; but the house keeping staff was excellent about bringing extra towels and shampoo very quickly. The location of the Guitar Hotel is very convieniet across from the pool next to constant grind and Rise which is open 24/7. The pool is wonderful and the pool staff wat staff lifeguards, towel folks are all extremely friendly and helpful The bar menu is more limited than it has been but enough to get a pool drink and a snack. I did order a mojito and it can with brown leaves! Ridiculous at those prices! That had never happened before at the old pool. Ordered a Flatbread they brought the wrong choice then they brought yet another one! If you have kids I would bring snacks and drinks. The pools were clean and well kept though the main pool was more crowded than should have been allowed. Tried s paddlborad which was fun.a little more expensive than I felt it should have been. Staff was very helpful. Eat dinner 2 nights at Cipresso and that was fabulous! The staff is excellent as is the food. Book early they fill up. Sometimes they can fit you in a the bar but they follow the Covid protocols and tables are hard to come by The casino is not as clean as it should be. The staff tries, had a very nice conversation with an affable you women with dyed red hair.. she intently cleaned the machine I was using all the while being very pleasant. I just don't think they have enough staff. The should have wipes for patrons to clean thier own machines. Smoking is horrible. Most casinos only allow in certain areas Hard Rock allowes everywhere including in the pool area .NOT SAFE! Did we enjoy our visit..mixed bag Rooms at Guitar are ok not great ! Hotel desk staff is inconsistent and some make no effort or are hard of hearing. If yoy are not a Black Diamond Player you will likely be ignored and will not ever meet a host! The slit machines are tight unless you are a high roller The slot machines lack variety The Oculus is interesting but nothing special The good The facilities pool etc are enjoyable Resteraunts are good and there are many options. The staff with the exceptions of reception and gaming hosts are top notch and make every effort to ensure your stay is a pleasant one. The Guitar show is a nice take. The hotel is convieniently located to a lot of southern Fl attraction but you will need to rent a car to take advantage.

When you spend $900 a night you will expect to have the minimum of service and respect, we are family of four that came for a vacation in this crazy unpleasant hotel. when we come to do the check in the lady in the front desk telling me that my reservation its not for the guitar hotel its for the tower building NO ITS NOT!! (nice try but did not work on me), I did not pay $4500 the be in the tower I paid that much to be at the guitar!!! she end up "Finding" a room for us at the guitar. T They not cleaning the room because of covid , but to valet the car they can? maybe they can because they can charge for it ? We rented a Tesla, when we asked the valet where i can charge the car he offer me to pay extra for the charge or "you can go the Walmart". there is no chairs available in non of the pools, we latterly set on the FLOOR! When we spend the time in the pool my wife whet to meet her sister in the casino when she came back she bring the kids pizza from the casino (inside the hotel) the security did not let her in the pool area because they only allowing to buy food from the pool restaurant, like thieves we set all wet in the lobby of the hotel to eat the pizza. I can continue with more examples like that for another hour.... Please take your money somewhere ales !!!!
