The outdoor ambiance is nice for this resort & residences! However, it does not speak to having a partner or dog. My Yorkshire Terrier Loves Large Spaces & Traveling To The "Nearby" Spa & Training Camp on Hallendale Beach Blvd. is important. Having A Loving Dog or In-Laws Just Doesn't Speak To This Property! Recently stayed at The Hyde for a total of 8 nights. It started off a little rough, as room service was poor, wait times for check ins were long, and overall customer service seemed to be non-existent. We then were introduced to Moe, who works front desk, and helped make up for the poor start we had. He was very accommodating, communicative and made sure he met our demands. It seemed like he went out of his way to make sure my family and I got we needed in a promptly manner. If it weren’t for Moe, I would of given The Hyde no more than two stars solely because of the rough start we had.

The service of this hotel needs improving, I have never waited any were in the world nearly one hour to check in, after a long flight from London then a drive from Miami to Hollywood, it’s the last thing you need to find is a line of 20 people checking in. The reception was very crowded with Spring breakers, I did go and look for a manager who was very nice and did explain the reason for only one member of staff checking people in, this is not a hotel as such it’s a residential resort, with hotel facilities So the staff levels are a lot lower then normal, but they need to sort this checking in system out, By the times we finally got to our room, I was pleasantly suprised what we saw, a very spacious apartment more then a normal hotel room, with an open plan living dining kitchen area separate bedroom and bathroom, with great balcony’s from both rooms and amazing Ocean and City views, it was bright and modern and I’m glad to say clean, but with So many rooms I’m not sure how they get to every room when it’s So busy, the pool area is very stylish but over crowded, We just picked the wrong time to stay, I’m sure after Spring break you will get the right feel for this area. Only one Resteraunt for such a big place but a good gym, nice out door bar with very good friendly staff, Over all I do think this is a good place to stay new modern design right on the beach, just try to miss Spring break. Has all the facilities you need for families or couples. Over all the staff have been friendly and We did enjoy our stay.

I booked a reservation 8 days ago to stay at Hide Beach for my birthday trip (May 09- May 14). I called the day I booked it to make sure that I could sign for it myself because I’m 19 and to ask if my card could go ahead and be run because the money was in my checking account. They told me that it would be processed soon and that there should not be any problems with me signing for the room. The money was in my account for 7 days and bills were taken out of my account on the same day they decided to run my card (7 days after I booked it). I called them to make sure everything was processed correctly and they said no, the payment was declined. They said I needed to update my card information on booking. I said no problem and I updated my card information on the billing app (during the phone call). I told the sales manager that I have the money in the account and to go ahead and run the card now. I called back today (the eighth day) to make sure everything was finalized and I was informed that may reservation was canceled because I “didn’t update my card information.” Keep in mind I have a screenshot on my iPhone showing otherwise. The sales manager told me I could rebook it online, and then proceeded to hang up in my face. When I put in the same information in for the same room, it is now $200 more than I originally signed up to pay. The hotel will not give me the reservation for the original amount I agreed to. The sales manager was completely disrespectful and unprofessional on the phone. I don’t understand how things turn out like this when someone (myself) was so thorough about booking it. Will never book again! So disappointed

second the person who said it was the worst hotel ever, please avoid it. And it’s too bad as it’s a gorgrous property. But the service and care might as well not exist...called to complain every single day and nothing was worked out. Left a message for the general manager and it was of course not returned. The rooms are often not cleaned but when they are it’s done so poorly...someone has to show the housekeepers how to make a bed!!! There are therefore bugs in the rooms. The pool attendants are rude and so are everyone with few exceptions.i have names and examples if anyone is interested (doesn’t seem to be the case sadly)- there is only one word: Horrible!
