The desk clerk was unfriendly and seemed bothered by our arrival. He asked my confirmation from my email, but I was unable to located it, so he looked it up and sent it to my email. It said two nights, but we booked four nights! He was quick to tell us that we’d have to call Sounders! The email had a code for the keyless entry. We put the code#s in opened the door and saw the television was on! There was a person in the bed!!! We exchanged nervous hellos and we apologized. Horrified. We returned to the lobby very upset. The clerk corrected our room and showed me on the computer the correct number of nights booked. Initially , this should have been his first clue to look more carefully. Later during our stay, we requested to have our room cleaned. You just can’t put a door notice, you have to request this at the front desk so that’s what I did. Later the same day, I went to the front desk to remind the clerk who both times was the fella that checked us in. He assured us he put the request in, well we returned and our room wasn’t cleaned? All our towels were all used and wet. The toilet paper was low! and the room overall needed a cleanup. So, I called guest services which was the main number for Sounders. After that, right away, the same clerk delivered towels. He was surprised when I told him that our room wasn’t cleaned. Towels were delivered to our travel friends who booked with us and were supposed to be in an adjoining room, but we’re on a different floor. I took the wet pile of towels and put them outside our door. Because of the pile outside the door, a hotel rep. knocked on our door. I explained the situation and he was equally horrified and took $50.00 off of our booking. Sounders later emailed and gave my friend and I $50.00 each to use on a future booking. The hotel is beautiful, the restaurant, pool, coffee shop, location, and roof top bar are amazing, but we aren’t sure we will return. We are still shocked about walking into someone else’s room. Additionally, using Sounders phone numbers to book was a challenge. The a whole story in and of it’s own. Not happy.. people confused, inconsistent … we had to call a number of times to get clarification. The same clerk was sprawled across a couch when we came in late one evening, there was another female clerk who was unfriendly and not helpful when we had a question. They both don’t represent The Cir well. It is because of the Pandemic? I don’t know, but not good at all. It’s in a pandemic, they are developing Sounders, so I guess the kinks are not worked out, but it wasn’t a good experience overall!.…
Location is good. The design of the room is great. Unfortunately the cleanness of the room was poor. The floor tile was sticky and we could not walk barefoot on it. The Keurig was unusable due to lack of maintenance and the mini fridge did not cool down .
We loved our stay and will most likely book thru the Sonder app next time we go out of town! We enjoyed the amenities and staff and how comfortable we were in our room all five days! We will definitely be back
The only problems i had was the microwave wasn't on the same floor, and the app wasn't as smooth as it looked. Other than that i like the decor, cleanliness, and customer service was awesome.! I would definitely stay again.
I do not recommend this hotel to anybody at all. Very slow unmotivated staff. No hot water in my room for 5 days. Arrived to the room to find half smoked blunts and tobacco leaves all over the dirty balcony! Very disappointing stay.
