In my opinion, this is the nicest hotel in Gainesville. Location perfect for UF activities as it is directly across the street from UF. It was recently remodeled and it is a big improvement. Pet friendly and convenient to many restaurants as well.

Great location for visitors to University of Florida campus for sports events. Clean, comfortable, friendly. Good restaurant and bar. The Museum nearby was an easy walk and quite enjoyable.
We particularly enjoyed sitting by the pool with our morning coffee. Great atmosphere.
We have stayed at a couple of hotels and this is the best by far. You can walk around easily, near campus, well located, 10 minutes from downtown, quite! Shulas restaurant and a nice lounge bar.
