Have stayed at this hotel many times when returning from Tennessee. This last stay was with a 2 bedroom 2 bath room and the room with the king bed in it had a horrible mold smell. We couldn't figure out why if it was coming from the bathroom or the air conditioning vent in that particular room or was it...

We were stopping on our way home to visit our student at UF and have stayed at this Residence Inn (RI) property many times before, as I am a Lifetime Platinum Elite member. The staff has always bent over backward to ensure our every need was met, they are very pet friendly (per RI standard) and the property is close...

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your review Paul S and more importantly for choosing to stay at Residence Inn Gainesville. We love that enjoyed how close we are to lots of restaurants and shopping along with our proximity to the University Of Florida. We look forward to you visiting again in the near future.

Our fave choice in Gainesville for an overnight stay. Very friendly staff, a good breakfast with choices, comfy beds, room to spread. Love having a full size (real) refridge to hold water bottles, freeze ice packets for return trip. The rooms are a little dingy and dark but very Marriott clean. Parking can be a bit far out when they...

My wife and I stay at this hotel during our visits to UF shuttling our daughter back and forth to school 2-3 times a year. It's a clean and modern facility located just off I75, close to a new Walmart and other shopping. Like most of the hotels in Gainesville it can get pretty crowded during UF visit times and...

The place is clean and neat. There is good parking. The room was new and modern. The bed was good but the pillows were too thick. The breakfast was standard fair- yogurt, waffles, bread, fake scrambled eggs etc. The biggest complaint is the location. It is right next to the interstate so the road noise was considerable. If you are...

Thank you for your review, we work very hard to make sure every guest gets the best nights sleep possible. Most of our rooms face away from the interstate and are much quieter for the guests who have a harder time falling asleep. We would love for you to give us another try next time you are in town.

Adrian at the front desk was very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. the outdoor area was super nice with a pool, firepit, and grilling area which we made full use of. I've stayed in more expensive hotels but this is the nicest one because of the experience and environment.

This hotel was very comfortable for my family of four. We were touring UF and needed a spot to spend the night. The hotel seems to be new and rooms and facilities were in excellent shape. Only spent 1 night. Free breakfast was surprisingly good. Very close driving distance to UF.

The staff were very friendly, and one particular employee, who has a dream to become a cruise director, was absolutely over the top. She went out of her way to help us in ways that you seldom encounter in the hotel circuit. We stayed here because they are pet friendly although you do have to pay a substantial fee for...

We had stayed on and off at this hotel before and always enjoyed it when in town. We had a serious medical situation for which we showed up one night in December, not knowing how long we would need our two bedroom room. Our family member was transferred from South Florida via ambulance to Shands Hospital. The managers Ana and...

The room was clean and updated. The fitness was bare bones but I got what I needed from the treadmill. The front desk staff was nice and courteous. I did have a problem with the lock on my door. The key card worked once and only once. I had to be key by the front desk every other time I...
