I was quite surprised how nice the Reitz Union Hotel actually was. It was renovated not that long ago and I can tell you it was comfortable and nice. The particular room I stayed in was very large compared to normal hotel accommodations. The decor was pleasing. There was a refrigerator available in the room along with coffee and a...

This was the perfect place to stay for a campus visit to UF. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Room rates were very reasonable. Being right on campus was super convenient. Add in the easy free parking and complimentary continental breakfast items, and what more could you ask? Hope there are rooms available for future visits, should my daughter become a...

The 5th and 6th floor of the UF student union has hotel rooms for reasonable prices. You also get great parking and breakfast included in the price. We had an executive suite, which reminded me of an Embassy Suites style hotel room. The view wasn't great (would have loved to have a room that looked onto the swamp-but that is...

We spent the last two nights in an executive suite at the Reitz Union Hotel. The desk staff, breakfast staff and housekeeping were all friendly and gave excellent service. You absolutely cannot beat this hotel for a visit to UF. Student tours, bookstore, many food choices, movies, bowling alley are all in the building. Accommodations are comfortable and clean. Breakfast...

While I attended the University of Florida in the mid-70s and have visited there many, many times to go see football games and basketball games, I never had a chance to stay at The Reitz Union Hotel. While down there last month for a meeting with the Dean of The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, I decided to give...

It's been a few years since my last visit and I was hoping some of my last experience would not be repeated. While they have invested some money in refreshing the rooms to bring the more up to date, be prepared for the incovenience of construction. My biggest complaint is the difficulty in getting from parking to the hotel elevators....

We stayed here for one night and I will admit to expecting more. We chose this hotel over a competitor due to the website boasting that each room had a balcony overlooking campus. This was true but due to renovations they were all restricted. I truly wish we had been told that ahead of time. As others have mentioned it...

This is an amazing hotel inside the student center building at UF, not a luxury hotel but extremely clean and comfortable, the best location when visiting our daughter at the University of Florida, easy access to the food court and the University's bookstore, in the heart of the Gator country, close to restaurants and shops,

This is THE place to stay if you need to be on the University of Florida campus for business or a Gators game. The guest rooms are on the fifth and sixth floors. My room was comfortable, but the door to the balcony was locked because the hotel is undergoing a renovation. Be forewarned: the hammering and drilling begins well...

We were there for the first time in Gainesville from Naples FL, exciting to get there for my son orientation in UF. Rooms are spacious, large clean bathroom. I like the accommodation because students are generous and everything is there in the building.
