We rate Gulfview Manor a 10! Wendy & Amanda are great, as is the whole staff. We had a Gulf front unit, extremely clean & it's pet friendly. The resort is directly on the Gulf, the beach is dog friendly too! We'll definitely be back with our fur kids.

Wow! What a gem! The perfect apartments, right on the beach. Stayed here with the family for a couple of nights. Superfriendly staff and management. Excellent service and apartments. Free wifi, beach towels included, bbq area, probably the best beach in America and a magical sunset. Will definitely stay here again!

We booked for three adults. On our arrival we were met with a very stern and rude individual in the office. She informed us that our reservation was for two adults. I informed her it was for three and she committed that Booking.com automatically books only for two. That was our first issue because she said we should have booked a two bedroom. Apparently the pull out sofa is only for kids. We were originally going to bring our small lap dog because that’s why we booked a lower floor but last minute my husband decided against it. The front desk asked because I had informed them via email, and when we informed her that we did not she looked suspicious at us. She informed us that there is no smoking in the condo which was fine even though we are smokers. Then she continued to tell…

Thank you for your review, we appreciate all types of feedback especially ones with so much detail. Let me begin with your reservation, your reservation made through booking.com had only 2 adults. I have pasted a copy directly from the booking.com website to show that you only booked for 2 adults. Check-in: Fri, 15 Jun 2018 Check-out: Tue, 19 Jun 2018 Length of stay: 4 nights Total guests: 2 Total rooms: 1 The room you booked only allows for 2 adults and is priced accordingly. We made an exception for your family. There is a charge for extra adults, which was explained when you check in and you agreed. The office provided you with sheets for the pull out couch, the extra pillows and blanket are located in the bedroom closet. If you required additional linens and pillows a call to the office and we would have been happy to supply you with more. Cabanas as well as beach chairs with umbrella are available to rent. This is the same policy for most hotels on Fort Myers beach. Smoking…. You admit in your review that you did smoke out on the balcony. It was explained the day you checked in No smoking in the apartment as well as the balcony. The reason for no smoking on the balcony is that it offends our non-smoking guest who would like to utilize their balcony without having second hand smoke. You were not targeted for being smokers. Other resorts do not allow smoking on balconies for the same reason we do not. After you checked out our employees entered your apartment and immediately noticed the strong smell of smoke in the apartment. She called to have someone else verify the smell. When it was confirmed I was called to the apartment. I can assure you the entire apartment smelt of smoke, from the back bedroom to the front of the apartment. The apartment had a deep clean as well as our ozone machine. The following day two different employees entered the apartment to find the smell was still apparent. The apartment had to be taken out of inventory for 2 days, 5 different employees verified the smell of smoke. You say you only smoked on the balcony, the condition of the apartment indicates otherwise. When you checked in your signed a paper that clearly states that there is a $100.00 fine if smoking is done above the ground floor. I have pasted the sentence from the check in sheet. NO SMOKING ABOVE THE GROUND FLOOR. A $100.00 SERVICE FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD IF YOUR FOUND SMOKING ABOVE GROUND FLOOR. Again, thank you for your review. It assures our present and future guest that we stand by our rules that are set in place so that ALL of our guests can enjoy their stay when they visit Gulfview Manor. Have a wonderful day.

From the moment we checked in until we checked out, everyone and everything made us feel welcome and at home. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. We were in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. The bed was comfortable. We were on the 3rd floor and had a wonderful view from the large wrap around screened balcony with plenty of seating. The property backs up to the beach so access is quick and easy. Just a short walk down the beach brings you to some protected turtle nests and a bird area so there is ample wild life to see. We watched pelicans and seagulls diving into the ocean looking for dinner. On several occasions we were blessed to watch dolphins playing just a short distance from where we were in the ocean. I must be honest, we have been going to Gulfview Manor for at least 10 years. I am selfish and did not want to write a good review fearing that everyone and their brother would want to book there. Well the cat is out of the bag now. So I finally write my review. It has been nothing but good in ALL the years we have stayed there. All the people who wrote bad reviews in my opinion are trouble makers. I enjoy the place because they keep the loud drunk lowlifes out. We like to have a good time, but do not abuse the rules and have never had any problems. If you are hesitant, as we were with our first stay, don’t worry.
