The only good part about this hotel was the distance to the beach. This motel was absolutely HORRIBLE! First and foremost there were BED BUGS!!! I still have bites from 2 days ago, they have not gone down. Multiple people were complaining about them and the staff did not even care. They were friendly however, they had a non-nonchalant attitude... More

If you want an inexpensive and quiet place to crash after a day of sightseeing then this is your place. The hotel and its rooms were very clean, but have definitely seen better days. The maid came every afternoon to clean my room and always asked if I needed anything. There was a nice pool that was actually big enough... More

This motel is nothing special but it did exactly what I needed. A bed to put my head on, a clean room and a cool pool to take a quick dip before heading ro the beach that was right around the corner by the way. The vleaning lady came by everyday and even moped my floor for me when I... More

Lafayette claimed to be on the beach so when we were trying to find them it was exaspirating to say the least. Got to check in stairs are steep so if u need assistance u will have to call the office from your car and ask for help. Once checked in they tell u beach access just down the road... More

My girlfriend and I checked in for a night. At 12:00 we awoke to loud shouting coming from the apartment building next door, owned by the same owners I think. Some domestic dispute, woman fighting with three other males outside. Very loud. Not to worry, she was alive because they were going at it again at 2 am. Again, she... More

My family and I wanted to stay near the beach without paying 200 to 300 dollars a night. We found Lafayette and were very Pleased with the staff and cleanliness. We were happy to have a guest laundry on site. Would definitely stay again.

This is a Motel remember, not a Hotel. You get what you pay for. I paid a very cheap rate and was expecting worse from the reviews. Only stayed for a couple of nights. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was fine, very big and had a kitchenette. Free wifi. Not in the main tourist areas so... More

I had read some horrendous reviews of this motel, as well as some great ones. We found a very quaint, almost beach-side motel that had alot of personality! The motel is colorful with a great little pool that was impeccably maintained. The owners and staff were very courteous and stopped to ask us how our stay was going. The motel... More
