This guest house is a beautiful and meticulously maintained tropical oasis! Our room was comfortable and had a great location just steps from pool and hot tub area. The staff is constantly attending to all the details. The breakfast is a serve yourself set up and the variety and freshness of options is impressive. Happy hour every evening is also a great perk. Only suggestions would be that the breakfast area feels a little cramped and crowded. Also, the pillows in the room could be a little better. Otherwise this guest house is charming with super friendly and helpful staff -- and we can't wait to return!
I have traveled all over the word and found nothing to compare to Pineapple Point . Last week I spent 4 nights and just relaxed. The first day I woke at 11:20 am , normally I am up at 6:00 am ever day. As long as I can get a room this is where I will be staying . If you haven’t tried this one you are missing out !
You can stay at the top rated B&B/Resort/Hotel in all of Fort Lauderdale for four days for as little as $187 a night from May - Oct. From free snacks and iced tea/lemon aid, available all day, to free popsicles and frozen pineapple chunks hand dipped in chocolate brought out on a tray for you pool side, to unlimited smiles and service from the staff, Pineapple Point is the one place you need to treat yourself to before the year is up. Stop saying to yourself, "one of these days," and just do it. Book your room and start packing. It will be the best couple of hundred dollars you ever spent on yourself - You deserve it!!
We’ve visited many guest houses in the FLL area through the years. We’ve had some great experiences, but Pineapple Point has blown away the competition!! The grounds are a lush tropical oasis that evokes a sense of calm. Our room was spacious and relaxing with plenty of storage. However, the service is what sets them apart. They attend to your every need and pay attention to every detail; all with a smile and desire to help make a great experience. The staff was fun and helpful. Happy hour was a wonderful addition to an afternoon at the pool. We had an amazing experience. Thank you PP!
I absolutely love staying at Pineapple Point. The grounds are spectacular and the staff is super-attentive and friendly, all working together to nurture a friendly and welcoming environment. I also appreciate the access to bicycles for early morning bike rides to the beach to watch the sunrise. Even though there are lots of things to do in the area (Los Olas, Wilton Manors, the beach) it's always hard to leave the comfort of the grounds.
Truly amazing tropical gardens and relaxed vibe. The unobtrusive service is what makes Pineapple Point stand apart from any other spot in Fort Lauderdale. This is a spot specifically for older gay men to feel at home with their peeps.
We stayed here on our recent visit to Fort Lauderdale and really enjoyed the experience. The grounds are lovely and green with lush vegetation. There are several pools and a hot tub.The room was very comfortable,a large comfy bed with most mod cons. Cool drinks and snacks were available round the pool during the day with a happy hour at 5pm.The staff were very attentive but in a relaxed manner and the service they provided really was outstanding. My only criticism is that the mosquitoes were ferocious,I was bitten more in the first 2 days than I would normally be for 2 weeks.so be prepared, spray yourself regularly but that aside it’s a lovely place.
My husband and I stayed for 5 nights for my birthday. Everything was top notch. The staff was friendly and really helpful. We’ve stayEd at several gay resorts, Pineapple Point Guest House has been our best experience so far. We’ve already booked for next year! We highly recommend staying here.
AMAZING. I cannot say enough about the staff. Friendly, Caring and very accommodating. Pride of ownership is evident throughout the property. Very well appointed rooms and very clean. I look forward to my next stay. Highly reccomend the property.
This is going to be difficult to write something that hasn’t already been said. Flew in to Miami, my worry for weeks was how to get to Fort Lauderdale without costing a fortune so we decided to take an Uber which was circa $60 which was probably the cheaper option. Arrived to a warm welcome from the team, and after unpacking we toured the beautiful well kept grounds of the resort, like a maze, then a skinny dip in the pool. Our room number 6 was immaculate, cleaned immaculately every day, usually when we were at breakfast. Bedding was clean, fresh and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Breakfast was relaxed, coffee from 7:15 for early risers and a great continental from 8:00. We would normally go for a walk around lunchtime for a drink but here at the Pineapple we hardly left the premises as John would serve us our wine around the pool, and made sure we were well looked after. Oh yes and free ice cream very day. In the evening there was the wine/beer/ nibbles happy hour, great time to meet all the other guests, all served with a smile and welcome from lovely Tim. If you feel a bit intimidated by some of the bodies on the website, don’t be, the people here are all shapes, sizes and ages all so friendly. We used to eat at los Olas in the evening, about a 15 minute walk but a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars. The only regret we had was not venturing to Wilton Manors, but you needed to drive or get a taxi, but hey next time yes. Did I mention the staff? Probably the greatest team of polite, friendly and professional guys you could want to meet, Judd and Phil you should be very proud of them, it’s really the people that make the vacation. We were sorry to leave, and sure look forward to coming back, thank you Pineapple Point for making our vacation one to remember.…
