This is a very overdue review of the Coral Reef Guesthouse. I stayed at the Guesthouse for nearly 2 months during March/April 2012. I had just lost my job and really needed to get away for some RnR. During the stay I got to be apart of a family it felt like. The General Manager Bobby (Boooooooobby!) is probably one...

My husband and I spent a week here recently. Both the owner Wayne and the Manager Bobby were beyond wonderful. The way they are attentive to all of their guests really sets the tone for this place. They are so nice and pleasant, it really makes you able to relax and enjoy the stay. The property is nice and well...

The Coral Reef is a very well maintained, friendly resort catering to a gay male clientele. The grounds were meticulously tended to and the recently renovated rooms were beautiful. The owner and assistant were extremely personable and accommodating. Having never stayed in Ft. Lauderdale before, their willingness to assist us with discovering the local hot spots and restaurants proved valuable....

My husband and I stayed here for a few days after our Chumley cear cruise. We had a delightful time! We had never heard of this guesthouse before. The 8 or so units are arranged around a pool/hottub, and there is a central kitchen where they serve breakfast. Very private and quiet, although when we were there, the building next...

I have been staying at the Coral Reef Guesthouse once or twice a year. My recent stay in May 2011 (I think my 4th or 5th visit) was just like it has always been -- relaxing, quiet with personable staff and friendly atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and clean. A small continental breakfast satisfying enough in the early morning with...

Having previously stayed at the Coral Reef, and read a recent poor review, we were slightly wary of what we were going to find when we returned for our third visit. Yes, there have been some changes as a result of new ownership however these are all to the better. Future plans for change suggest that the positive trend for...

I went to Coral Reef Guesthouse to meet friends, and I have not had a level of customer service in quite some time. The staff are very friendly and focused on guests having a good experience, and I very much appreciated their help. I went from my holiday here to a 5-star resort for a meeting, and I found myself...

Absolutely a wonderful host and staff. RW, Bobby, Jesus, Gabe are wonderful and go out of their way for their guests. Both my partner and I are deploying and this was the most wonderful experience to share before we leave. We will definitely be back again!

My partner and I have stayed each year for four years. We stay between 3 and 6 weeks at a time. This time we stayed three weeks, over the course of our five week stay in the USA. We're sorry to say that this was our last visit. I'm genuinely upset that our 'special place' is no more. The former...
