We wanted a cheap place to stay and we have stayed in many budget hotels. The room was functional except we couldn't get the shower to work. There was a smell like sewer gas in the room and my wife and I both woke up with headaches, so I don't know what we were breathing. I tried to share my concerns with the manager, but he was to arrogant to listen. Just avoid it.

Pool was really cold. There wasn't many outlets in the room. Was disappointed when asked for extra pillows and they said they didn't have any extra. Breakfast was only for 2 hours, 7 till 9 am. The housekeeper we had was friendly and helpful.

Absolute dump. The bathtub was full of spiders and webs. My son's feet were completely black from walking on the carpet. TV wasn't connected. I needed to use the phone and couldn't because it wasn't connected with a chord. Went to the lobby to ask for help with that, rude desk clerk told me they don't have phones and I'm out of luck.

Just what every guest wants to see when they pull into a motel. An active crime scene roped off by crime scene tape, and a body underneath a yellow blanket in the parking lot! How's that for a welcome? You stay classy Florida City!

This place was absolutely shocking! I have stayed in some very basic places before having traveled around South Africa but this was the worst I have ever seen. The smell was terrible, all the bed sheets and towels were covered in marks and stains, there was even a dirty boot print on the bed sheet! Loose wires hanging out of the wall, floor incredibly sticky and greasy, rubbish all over the floor outside the room. We luckily had our own towels with us so slept on top of those as we did not want to touch anything. We had people outside until gone 1.30am making noise, then at around 4am we had people banging on the door shouting in Spanish, this happened twice! Breakfast was included in the price but didn't see anything that resembled breakfast, there wasn't even milk to go with the coffee! I would not stay here even if it was free! I am currently trying to get a refund through expedia but they don't seem to be getting any response from the motel so not looking promising!

Not fit for dogs...dark, disgusting filthy smelly room. Bathroom door appeared to have been broken down. Spent 5 minutes in this trash and got in our car to find paradise at the Marriott. The place is a third rate flop house

Beware. This hotel is full of cockroaches and other bugs. Worst hotel I have ever seen. Paid $169 for night. Pictures looked good on website. First of all receptionist is behind security glass, gives you a remote for tv through slot and sends you to your room. Room was dirty, sheets stained and bugs on wall. Decided to try and sleep on cover and turned off lights. Within seconds the cockroaches took over. Turned on light to get book and roaches were in suit cases, water bottles, dresser, night stand, everywhere!!! Asked for refund and manager said no. We left. No way would any of us set foot inside that room again. The pictures on website must be old. Place was rundown and pool was dirty. Stay Away!

I am not a prima Donna traveler. In fact, I like old school places. But this was the most foulest place I have ever stayed. We stayed here as a family of four on our way to the keys. Booked it at $169 because it was the only thing available and just needed one night before we got to Key Largo. BIG mistake. The front office was closed except for an extremely disinterested employee behind safety glass with a pass through safety window. The room was filthy. Stained sheets, disgustingly dirty floor and smelly bathroom. Being our only option, we decided to stay and sleep on top of the bedspread. I was falling asleep when my daughter screamed that there was a bug on her water bottle. I turned on the light and there were roaches everywhere! Dozens of them. We decided to leave and asked for a refund. Long story short, they refused to refund our money. Having no other choices we drove into Key Largo where we had rented a condo and spent the night in pool chairs. This was MUCH better than the overpriced literal roach motel!-

Rooms 105, 106, 115, 116 all had roaches. The ice machine was broken. And the ac in 115 was broken also. Locks looks as if the doors were kicked in. Lots of drug activity in the parking lot. After finding the bugs the manager used the rain as an excuse for the roaches! Then offered no apology and told me I'd never get my money back. So I called my booking agent and got ALL MY 💰 back & went to Double Tree by Hilton

Even at the low rate it is not worthwhile. The room was HORRIBLE, broken light fixtures, standing WATER on the floor in the bathroom. Bathroom vanity looked like it was recovered from hurricane Andrew. Fixture over sink missing and broken bulbs. Poorly patched holes in the walls. Drug deals going down outside in parking lot at night. Sleazy characters walking around outside after midnight. I was embarrased to bring my wife there, and would never even consider taking a family there. Someone needs to contact the Dept of Health to seek violations in codes.
