This is my go to place whenever we travel to Miami or the Keys. Cleaning staff does an incredible job. Beds have been comfortable with plenty of pillows and towels supplied. I believe it’s family owned and the extra care shows. You get the best rates dealing directly with the Front Desk staff who have consistently been very accommodating. We always request a first floor room whenever traveling with an elderly parent as no elevator. I really like the tile floors, so much better than the typical carpeting especially if you suffer from allergies. Breakfast is included, but due to COVID restrictions is limited to a boiled egg, English muffin, and a breakfast cereal bar along with available juice and coffee. There is a Dunkin Donuts at the corner as well as a Starbucks and a Cracker Barrel on the opposite corner by the Walgreens. Plenty of free parking in front of your room.
The pool with the waterfall and the picnic area are nice. I have stayed in rooms with a very clean microwave and a very clean small fridge. It’s close by to restaurants, supermarkets (including a Super Walmart) and gas stations as well as near the entrance to the Keys. The turnpike entrance is only a couple of miles away and gets you everywhere in and around Miami.
My only criticism would be that while the rooms have been updated within the last couple of years, whoever did the work was not exactly very good at it. I’ve stayed in a variety of different rooms among the eight different buildings and the renovation work done appears more DIY than professionally done. It’s a shame, because things like the bathroom tile work or the vanity counters or how the bathroom door closes, could’ve elevated the overall appearance of the rooms rather than drawing attention to not so great workmanship. The owners and the guests deserved a better job. They also do not have any specifically designated handicap rooms, but the rooms are ample enough to get a wheelchair around. I wish they had opted during renovations to install at least a few rooms with a walk-in shower that would facilitate someone in a wheelchair. That would've made our stay really great. We stayed twice in August 2021. The first trip was a Friday through Sunday at the beginning of August and the second trip was a Monday through Thursday morning during the last week of August 2021.
Having said that, I have been fortunate not to have encountered noisy adjoining guests. Guess that can happen almost anywhere. Have heard kids running upstairs, but very briefly and again, can happen anywhere. Would highly recommend as have always felt safe and you just can’t beat the value.

What an amazing place! Obviously an older build motel style complex, but with beautiful grounds and completely modernized, updated rooms! We loved this stay and thankfully it was three consecutive nights. I would stay here again if I'm down that way once more. Friendly staff, a cleaning crew that never stops and nice amenities. I wish we could have tried the pool, but we were on the go our whole time in the area. The Fairway Inn beat out a couple of places we stayed earlier in the week when on the Lower Keys. This was by far the most economical of accommodations, too while on vacation, yet it rivaled more expensive properties we stayed at in both cleanliness and comfort. It was still convenient for access to the Upper Keys, but also to our day in the Everglades along Loop Road and at Gator Park. We were so comfortable during our stay and it was like our little home-away from home! Lots of nearby gas stations, restaurants, pharmacies and stores (Walmart is right down the street), etc. It felt very safe on the property as well and very well lit after dark. No complaints, but lots of accolades. Keep doing what you are doing, Fairway Inn! Book without hesitation is what I would tell others. The rooms are big, too! I really loved this place!

My husband and I recently spent a week here. Had planned to stay two days and then move on down into the Keys, but upon discovery of the lack of availability and the cost of what was available in the lower Keys, we decided to extend our stay for six more nights. It was a bit nerve wracking to fight the traffic from here to Key West, but we discovered there were lots of other things to do from that location, such as the Everglades National Park, Alligator Farm, etc. The room was comfortable and clean, and the front desk people were very friendly. Some of the housekeeping personnel were not overly friendly, but they were effective and accommodating. Several restaurants within walking distance was helpful, as was the onsite visitors center. We would definitely recommend this location to potential travelers and will stay here again ourselves.

I have been in Florida City, waiting for my job to start elsewhere, and I am so glad to have found this "Inn". It is excellent. There is no need to doubt this place. It (for me), brings to mind roadside motels of the 70's, structurally yes, but inside, the rooms are extremely amenable and current. Everything is here. Excellent King bed, microwave, fridge, ect... The shower is good. The noise level is minimal, even though the highway is close.. I'm on the bottom and I never heard noise from above or beside me. The grounds are very well kept...very nice pool, BBQ grills, ice/soda machines throughout. Within walking distance are about 6 fast food joints, but most restaurants will deliver. The staff are competent and friendly. Coffees is on tap 24/7 and there is a free "continental " style breakfast (I'm not a breakfast person, so I can't expound on this) in the very clean check in/out Front desk building.
If I ever get "stuck" in these parts again, I would most definitely stay here. I guess a major fact to note is, that Key Largo is 15 minutes away, as the rest of the Keys follow, and get more expensive as you get closer to Key West. Zero complaints. A solid 8/10.

Upon turning into the entrance road of this property, my initial impression was of an unassuming, low-key place to stay. Once I entered into the front office, masked, of course, my impression changed drastically. The front office doubles as an expansive, sparkling clean, updated eating area. The staff member with whom I spoke was exceedingly welcoming and kind (something I really appreciated as I was exhausted from my travel). Driving to the room I noticed the pristine pool area with a simple and attractive waterfall. The room itself was an unexpected, approximate 24'x18' in size and there was not a speck of dust anywhere. Everything seemed to have been upgraded including the bathroom. It had all I needed, including a fridge and micro. The mattress on the king-bed was so comfortable I slept the entire night through for the first time in months! I expressed my appreciation via this review but also by remembering the unseen, overworked, and usually underpaid superstars who make the rooms so amenable...the houskeeping engineers....tipping is so underrated but so very important and appreciated by the recipient. See you'all next time! Thanks for a great stay!

Air conditioner & the fan in the bathroom was so very loud could not get a good nights sleep. Commented on it in the morning & was told we should have called down, and yes we should have but after travelling all day we just didn’t think about it. The front desk said if we stayed there again they would upgrade us to a newly renovated room with new air conditioners at the same rate. We took her up on it on our way back from Key West. Stayed 2 nights, in the updated room, 1 night discounted (but not what we paid the first night) & regular price next night. Our question to her was: why would you rent out a room with a noisy air conditioner when you have updated ones with new quiet air conditioners? Rooms clean.

This is a motel, so don’t expect too much. But for $70 a night, our family of four had a clean, large and relatively quiet room to use as a base to explore the Keys and the Everglades. There are some good restaurants around (loved Cuban Spice), and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at your hotel. We had a wonderful housekeeper she kept our room exactly the way we wanted it and had a smile on her face every time we seen her. The young ladies name was Catherine. We stay at your hotel at least once a month and from now on we will be asking for Catherine to be our housekeeper for our stay she made us feel like we were at home always had everything we asked for and did it with a smile and that is what every hotel needs are employees that go an extra mile for the quest. Thank you and I look forward to seeing you guys again next month.

My daughter and I were looking for a budget friendly place to stay while my son went on a sailing trip in the FL Keys. We came across the Fairway Inn during our search and finally settled on staying there after looking at the cost, location, and after reading mostly favorable reviews.

We stayed six nights and found this place to be a hidden gem. It was budget friendly and the location was great. We were able to use as a "home base" to visit Miami, Everglades National Park, and the FL Keys. The room was frills "light" but had everything we needed. Most notably, we were happy to have a small refrigerator and microwave at our disposal. Restaurant prices are borderline unaffordable at this point and it was nice to be able to grab some dinner at the local Publix and then eat back at our room. We were also able to use one of the few tables on the property to eat outside. We also enjoyed the pool each evening after our days of exploring. Finally, the hotel does provide a breakfast each morning. There are waffle makers and the breakfast offered eggs, toast, and juice.

The grounds of the Fairway Inn are manicured nicely and it provides the look and feel of a more expensive lodging option.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Fairway Inn and would recommend it to South Florida travelers who are looking for a budget friendly option that has a great location.

The rooms are big and very clean. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in a 2-Star hotel.

The grounds are beautiful and so well kept. The tall and short palm trees throughout the property are very welcoming. They have multiple designated picnic areas with BBQ grills and tables. That was a pleasant surprise.
There are a lot of rooms yet it was very quiet at night and peaceful in the daytime.

The location is excellent. A short drive to Biscayne National Park and the Everglades, as well as a short 30 minute drive to Key Largo and 1 hour 30 minute drive to Sombrero Beach.

In the 5 days that we stayed there we felt safe at all hours, there were no people hanging out in the parking lot, no loud music.

The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and accommodating.
Housekeeping comes at reasonable hours, never earlier than 10am.

We most certainly recommend this hotel and we look forward to staying here again!
