I stayed at this location for two nights. The first day they lost power, none of the emergency lights were working in the stairway. I had to us my light on my phone to exit building. The second morning I woke up to check out of the hotel and when I enter the parking lot to found out that my truck got stolen overnight. When asking the front desk to call 911 they told me it's not their responibility that I had to call them. After finding out what the address of the building was and call the police I then asked them if the camers work. Please note that my truck was park in front of the front doors. They responded by saying that the cameras are for view only that they don't record. At the end of the day I called Hilton honers because I'm an honor member. They told me that someone from management from this location would call me back with in 72 hours. It has been one week and no one has call me back. I can't say for sure but I think one other vehicle got broken into in the parking lot that night by seeing glass laying in the parking lot.…
We stayed for one night and were generally pleased with the stay. As other have mentioned, the property is a bit dated and older. The sleep quality was very good and the room was generally clean. The breakfast was limited due to apparent covid protocols. There was some mildew above the refillable shower dispensing containers, so it wasn't perfect but it was a far cry from filthy. Strangely the wifi wouldn’t work for us during our stay. Nothing crazy, but not the kind of issues that you would expect at a H2S.
Don’t plan on this place as a place to stop and get a good nights rest. It’s dirty and the staff didin’t seem surprised by my request for cleansheets. Just said I could come sown to the front desk for clean ones.
Avoid at all costs! I booked this hotel for a trip with my children, as part of a long awaited vacation. Unfortunately, nothing that was advertised was available. We were given a room with too few beds which was NOT what I reserved and were told they could not do anything about it. The pool closes at 5, disappointing my 10 year old to the point of tears, nothing could be done. By the way, the pool is perfectly functional and was open at 7:00 in the morning. The pool hours are 7 to 12:00. We had to make a reservation for the next morning. Third, the laundry was broken at the hotel. I am spending time on my hard-earned vacation sitting at a laundromat. When I told the manager about all this, and told him that I had many options available to me and chose to stay here because of the Hilton name, he told me maybe I should have stayed somewhere else. Absolute worst customer service from the manager. I I learned a valuable lesson that I should call ahead to confirm amenities listed online. By the way, the breakfast was only cereal and a few sorry attempts of yogurt and green bananas. I would have let those things go, as it is still covid, but this was just above and beyond. The manager's rudeness on top of everything was the nail in the coffin for me.…
We have stayed at other Home2 Suites. This was by far the worst property. Only positive was its location to the Florida Keys. Pool required reserving time, which was expected during these Covid times. Breakfast was poor considering other Home2 locations offered much more choice. I prepaid for this reservation to get the lower rate. However upon arriving home, the hotel charged my AMEX again. As a Hilton Honors Gold member, I am totally dissatisfied with this property
