Charming B&B with lots of room choices, courtyard and inviting front porch. The Florida House and Green Turtle next door appear as if they were plucked out of key West and deposited onto Amelia Island. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Great breakfast included. Friendly staff. Bonus--outdoor ping pong next door.

Bang for the buck - Florida House Inn is the best place to stay in downtown Fernandina. It's not near the beach, so if you are looking for a beach getaway I would recommend booking on the east side of the island. However, if you want to stay in walking distance to all of the downtown bars and restaurants this...

My husband and I stayed at Florida House Inn as an early Valentine's Day retreat. This was our second stay and sad to say, we were disappointed this time. Our mattress was much harder than the one we had in our last room (Jose Marti room) and made it difficult for either of us to get a good night's rest....

My husband and I were married at the Florida House Inn on January 17, 2017. First let me say, that the outside ceremony was beautiful and the food was delicious. Cassie and Sy were fabulous. They made planning so easy. Everything that was promised was done and then some. They were so friendly, organized, and accommodating. All of our guests...

We stayed in log cabin room and it was very cozy n nice. Absolutely loved it here. The staff was very kind and nice. The bartender recommended places to go and visit. The courtyard was very nice. Breakfast was delish. Wish we could've stayed longer.

This charming Inn is in perfect walking distance to all of historic downtown. The mermaid bar is onsite and breakfast is included in your stay. The twin bedroom is extremely tiny but was fine for our girls trip. The Green Turtle Taven is literally next door and is #1 on TripAdvisor for local bars. It is noisy at night however...

Florida House is in a great location in the historical district within walking distance to everything. Very low key. There are a lot of great eateries around. The room was clean, and the inn was quaint. The breakfast was very tasty but get there early or later to avoid the crowd! This is the spot for a relaxing weekend getaway!

My wife and I stayed in room #9 for the weekend of the Fernandina Beach historic homes tour. The location of the Florida House is amazing - one block off Centre Street and well within walking distance of the homes on the tour and everything else we wanted to see within the historic district. Breakfast was included with the room...

My husband and I recently stayed at The Florida House Inn. Like other reviews we chose to stay here because of it's historic charm and location. The staff was very friendly and the food was awesome...our room on the other hand was pretty bad. There were cobwebs on the walls, ceiling fan and had an odor we couldn't quite figure out...

Let me start by saying the locale, the grounds, the food and even the people at the Florida House in are all very charming and would have been worthy of Uber high marks. However, our room (room 12) was literally SO dirty and grungy it was hard to get past. The room itself was musky, literally had cob webs hanging...
