We planned for one night, but we ended up staying two nights at the Captains Table hotel. It is a pretty straight forward hotel, with large rooms and for a little extra you get balcony with chairs and a table with mosquito screens. It is very quite and their are good restaurants and a grocery in walking distance. The staff...

We stayed 3 nights. The room was clean and painted key lime green--very nice. It's a quiet area in June but we liked that. We enjoyed kayaking with a tour group, airboat tour and the Naples Zoo.

had a great trip to Everglades City, and Captain's Table was the first place we came to, it is right on a bend at the end of the road in and you just can't miss it. Nice little pool to cool down in. Very clean and comfy, but we all got bit that night. It is a wet area, obviously,...

We had the two bedroom "suite" with a full kitchen. Lots of room for four adults. Its a motel but there is not alot of choice in Everglades City. The price was $189. There is a pool which overlooks a river and it's beside the restaurant. There is a little grocery store across the street, it's the only one in...

I found a GEM in Everglades City! VERY nice swimming pool. Room was not fancy but it was nice. We had a little screened in sunporch with another balcony out side of that! Price for the room was $100 for one night in Feb which is not really bad. Room had a fridge. The only complaint I had was that...

My husband and I stayed at The Captain's Table for one night. It is located right across the street from a restaurant/bar. The motel is no frills but certainly suited our needs. We had a room with no porch. There were two full size beds in the room. There was a closet with a fridge and some extra room for...

All one has to do is research "Everglades City" and you'll realize that you're not likely to find 4 or 5 star places to stay! This is a really small town. The Captain's Table is - pretty much - an old school motel. The building, hallways and rooms are quite dated and could use some remodelling. Check-in was fine, if...

We were in Everglades city for an overnight before a kayak trip. This was a great deal for a small suite. Bedroom, living/dining room, kitchen, and bath. Even had covered parking! Decent restaurant within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed two nights. Room was clean and appropriate for a fishing village. However, the real problem is management and staff. Several people in our party commented to me about the abrupt and unpleasant treatment they experienced by staff and the comment was consistent with the abrupt treatment we experienced. While they are not offensive, at least to us, they...
