Thank you so much for your feedback, the hotel is under new management and we are working on updating the hotel. As we move forward with our updating we will be sure to address all of your concerns. The tv/cable in Everglades City is not always the best very sorry for the inconvenience but I know Joann did her best to make sure you were happy. Please give us another shot as there are many updates in our future. We have come a long way.

Captain’s Table is a hotel quite simple, nothing fancy but with everything you need and plenty of space to park your car. Bedroom is large and clean. We did not try the pool. People were quite flexible about check-in and check out. Location is good, close by Everglades park.

Staying a night at Captain's Table was like staying in one of those shabby roadside motel you try to avoid. Yet the price tag says resort. The few pros: well equipped kitchen. A patio with moskito net.

I don't think the pool is heated. as far as cookware my ice bucket was supposed to be a plastic bowl that I did not have and was snapped at when I asked for one
