The View Hotel is located on a mountain and the view is great I think it’s over priced The hotel not 5 stars It’s need more cleaning Maintenance especially in the bathrooms We found a big spider 🕷 And 🐜 ants all over the table Bad WiFi and nothing else to do on the property. They should add hiking-biking- it would have been a much different experience. The staff friendly And helpful
We stayed here for two nights and booked two of the premier cabins for the duration of our stay. As the name of the property states, the view from almost everywhere in the property is gorgeous and it’s a really nice base point to discover the nearby areas of Jabal shams and misfat al abryeen. The staff is very courteous and the service is fantastic. Special shout out to Chef Rajesh and the restaurant staff for catering to all of our requirements. The rooms are comfortably furnished and have an a/c, mini-fridge and all other amenities. The WiFi wasn’t working in our room during the stay (I’m not sure if they offer in room WiFi), which is the only real minus. The poolside is beautiful too but the pool is not heated so you can only use it during peak afternoon’s in Nov when the sun is directly on you otherwise the water is a bit chilly to handle. Evenings can get quite cold here in Nov so a jacket is definitely recommended. …
The name says it all. The View Hotel is located on a mountain and the view itself is very beautiful and breathtaking. We had the room in the front row at the end. The internet connection is only available in the restaurant and in the lobby. We had no WiFi in the room. The rooms are very simple furnished. It can get very cold in the night so make sure you have something warmer to wear. The a/c wasn’t working properly. The staff is extremely friendly and the facility itself is very beautiful.
The concept of this hotel overlooking the valley in the foothills of Jebel Shams is great. It is close to Al Hoota caves - which would have been nice to see with the kids, but not uet open to public because went during the COVID-19 pandemic, which also meant the pool was closed, and all food was delivered to our room. So being restricted to the room was not great- especially with kids- no wifi and nothing else to do on the property. Had we had activities to do( hiking-biking-sightseeing) it would have been a much different experience.
The main reason to come here is for the view and relaxation. Each room is in a separate structure, as is the lobby and restaurant. The rooms, including the bathroom, have floor to ceiling windows and balconies, which are perched hundreds of feet above Al Hamra. Additionally, the infinity pool and lobby building overlook the valley. Furnishing are basic, the air conditioner / fan was noisy, and WiFi is nonexistent in room and not all that great in the lobby. Food was okay, but nothing to write home about. We were only here one night as part of a tour and were very happy to come here. If you come here for a long stay you’ll be happy if you just want to relax.
