We've been to the Pearl before and enjoyed it. In December 2015 we had little to no enjoyment, of our room. Started with a dirty room; deck furniture missing; asked 3 times for bed sheets to be changed; deck was dirty the entire time we stayed; beach chairs were on the beach all the time, never returned to the deck... I expected an older hotel which had been well maintained, close proximity to a (mostly) private beach, and a wonderfully relaxing vacation. Well...we got that and more! Lindy and her entire staff made sure our stay was enjoyable. Even though our air-conditioning stopped working one night, Lindy provided us fans and made it her top priority. It was repaired quickly... More

First, let me mange expectations. I travel a lot. From the Ritz to Camping. If you are looking for the Ritz, this is not. What this is.....Is an old Florida Get A Way from the world. Lindy and the staff treat you like family. The property is efficiency type rooms, they make you feel at home. In 48 hours we... More

Once again the best place ever. This was our third time and it never disappoints. Lindy is always happy and helpful. It is just a great get away for anyone who likes it more on the quiet side. Beach is more like a private beach always more than enough room to have your privacy.

This was the third visit my wife and I made to this location. The Inn is a touch of old world Florida with some updates. The location is perfect. It sits on a very quite and peaceful stretch of beach. The rooms come with the amenities you need to be self reliant and you can virtually stay in the beach... More

The Pearl has been our slice of paradise for almost 30 years now. Have had so many incredible experiences there including catching a 75 pound shark which drew a crowd over the hour it took me get it to the shore. I've seen a huge turtle come up and lay her eggs and also was on the beach at midnight... More

What a great little spot. My fiance and I just needed a night away... without needing to travel too far (we live in Sarasota) we really felt like we were "away from it all", even thought it was just a once night stay. It was secluded, peaceful, clean, and had a private beach. Couldn't ask for me!

Great get away and extremely private. Great if you want some alone time. The rooms are newly remodeled and the beach is quiet with only a handful of people. Places to eat are a little far. For the most part you have to leave the island but it's only a 10 minute drive at most. We will be coming back!

We found the Pearl by pure luck and could not have been more satisfied!! We were in town for a wedding and the Pearl's location was perfect for a private getaway but close enough to go in town for some island action. After meeting the manager "Lindy" at check in, it seemed as if we had known each other for... More

Perfect getaway, very private, beautiful views, friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay and visited the area beaches while in town. This was a great choice, shopping is within minutes of hotel, but yet hidden enough from the rest of the world.
