I booked our room at the last minute- a stroke of luck. Never been here before but knew the area from staying at the Pearl Beach Resort down the road a few years ago. As prior reviewers have noted the place is older, but very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the smallness of the resort and proximity to the...

I stayed on unit 8. This is not a 5 star resort. It is an "OLD MOTEL" directly on the beach. It is decorated in thrift store attire and the bed didn't have allot of support; however it was clean and I absolutely loved this little place. I had a small kitchen and originally planned to eat breakfast and lunch...

We came across this small family owned spot by accident and decided to stay for a long romantic anniversary weekend. We found it comfortable and clean and "old Florida." It's nestled amongst million dollar mansions and the beach is beautiful. The owners were very accomadating. No visitors rule made it very quiet for an adult-only weekend. The pool was very...

Much nicer than other hotels of Venice. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The room clean and very nice. I loved the porch area in front of the room with a barbacue special for us. The beach is perfect. I just miss the daily cleaning of a hotel.

I always enjoy my stays at Gem Coast Inn. The staff is always accommodating to the guest needs. The improvements to the Inn are wonderful. I feel right at home when visiting friends in Englewood. Awesome Place.

We travelled across from Miami through Alligator Alley armed with our trusty Samsung Notepad looking for places to stay based on Trip Advisor ratings and affordability. Whilst working our way up the coast to St Petersburg we found this place which has stayed with us ever since and is definitely on the list of places we'd like to go back...

This is the second time we have been to the Seafarer. We just happened to find it when we went to Manasota Key to find some sharks teeth. What a find! It's practically on top of the beach! We stayed in Unit #1 the first time and it is the closest to the beach with amazing sunset views. This time,...

Well, the Seafarer is not the newest, or most luxurious place we've ever stayed. But you know what? It didn't matter. It is relaxing and beautiful and quirky. We love it there, and if someone told me I could live there for ever, I would. It's right NEXT to the beach! I mean, you come out of your door and...

If you want a commercial feel where you are catered to constantly and can get room service, this is not the place for you. If you want a retreat for a weekend (or week) and want to lose yourself in the wonder that is Englewood Beach for a time, this is it. I've stayed at an Inn up the road...

My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights, and it went by too fast! The location is awesome, with beautiful sunsets & lots of shark's teeth! Very quiet. If you are looking for night life, this is not the place for you. The peacefulness is what we were looking for! Will be back. Make sure you bring beach towels...
