We stayed at this "Luxury" Penthouse with my extended family for a reunion over the summer. This is a luxury property that has fallen into disrepair. It is in GREAT need of refurbishment.

Nice condo. Great view. Hot tub broken most of stay. Sheets not big enough for bed. Went late September so not very crowded. Management company very good. No grills on property so no cooking out. Good location..right across street from beach.

I did see a couple of pop up tents, but I agree with the wind, it may not stay. The best thing to do is visit one of the many souvenir shops on Scenic Gulf Dr and purchase an umbrella. If I recall they were only $10 which is what you will pay for daily rental. Definitely worth it even if you can't take it with you when you leave.
