What sets this Marriot apart from other similar hotels--the superior customer service!!! When I met Kevin at the front desk, I was exhausted. My husband had recently died, and I was clearing out my house in Hollywood FL and was staying one overnight. When I requested an early check-in Kevin was quick to oblige. He also checked my reservation and made sure I paid for the two reserved rooms on my own credit card. When it was checkout time and I learned that I had a short-notice zoom appointment shortly after the 11AM checkout time, again, Kevin kindly approved a late-checkout for 12:30PM. The room itself was comfortable and laid out very well. The breakfast was delicious, and the dining area was spacious. I had a fabulous night's sleep on the comfortable bed. Marriott step your game up!! If you need too hire a district manger that checks rooms once a month. Hire carpet cleaners ,have a company come spray for bugs 🐜 every 10 days something. This was nasty have stayed in cheap motels and had better rooms.
Stayed one night after getting in around midnight. Check in went smooth and very friendly host. Room was on the 4th floor and hallway had a strong musty smell. Our room had a terrible mildew smell. I would have asked for a different room or even changed hotels however if we near 1am and we were leaving at 10am. My kids needed their sleep. My son said the pullout couch felt like a sleeping bag place on top of springs. Breakfast was ok. Checkout service very good. I give our room a 2 star and service ane location 4-5 stars.
2 Room Corner King. Spacious and nice view of planes landing if facing north. Some consistent positives are the morning breakfast, keyless check-in and checkout. Decent size hotel with one ice machine, which is fine because the full-size fridges have an ice maker. One elevator, but there are a couple of stairwells. Pool is open from dawn to dusk and the fitness center is 24hrs, with a couple of treadmills, ellipticals, bike, and free weights. The beds are comfy with 4 pillows. Clean rooms. Outdoor seating area with grill. there aren't a lot of restaurant options close by, just a short drive. 20 minutes or so from a beach, with no traffic. Plenty of outlets in the room are good. Free parking. This place is worth the stay.
The room, pool and breakfast are excellent. Shenette does a great job making sure all the guests have an excellent dining experience. Thanks for the great morning meal! Stayed for 5 days and each morning we were greeted with a smile ! Rooms are clean and staff very helpful!
My husband and I stayed here before a cruise and we were extremely impressed with the level of service we received. When we arrived, Shennette greeted us, and made us feel welcome. She was also wonderful in assisting us with some issues we had with the wifi trying to take our pre-cruise Covid tests. While the wifi wasn't up to par for what we needed, we were able to get tests done elsewhere for our cruise. Everyone we encountered on property was so nice, but Shennette was an absolute shining star. I hope we can come back and stay again, as I know we'll be treated very well.
We booked a total of four rooms for our children/grandchildren with a total of 27 nights from Christmas to New Year. We know that with covid it is hard to get good help, but this stay was not up to Marriott standards. The staff was not friendly -nor did they seem happy to have us as customers - with the exception of Valeria. Having to work Christmas holidays might have been a factor. Complaints: When we arrived the toilet was not functioning properly; had to wait 2 days for repair. When I requested towels (they only makeup rooms every 4 days; guests must request supplies) , the housekeeper working in the hallway dropped clean towels on the floor as she was folding them (I would have expected them to be pre-folded in the laundry room). Housekeeping staff yelled at each other and did not seem to regard guests' presence The kitchen areas of the rooms were not really clean upon our arrival; the front of appliances had spilled food from previous guests. Window screens had evidently blown off - from many rooms -and were in bushes for our entire time; maintenance staff seemed unaware. I had to request the "welcome gift" customarily offered to Platinum rewards members; and did not even get a smile. At 10 am I had to search for staff to open the pool area; the front desk was often vacant. Much of the pool furniture is broken. The barbecue grille is broken - and appears to have been out of service for a long time. We have happy memories of other stays at FL RI's. This hotel needs new management - people who are customer-oriented.…
We just stayed for one night in a 2 Bedroom Suite. Comfortable beds and kitchen is well stock. Some attentive light mechanic needed in kitchen but other than that is was fine. We would definitely be coming back for a longer stay next time. Staff is very nice. Very convenient location.

This is a great Marriott Residence Inn. Staff is friendly, rooms are nice and clean, the lobby is beautiful, and the breakfast selection was really good and had a lot of variety. Was able to get a 2 pm late checkout as a Bonvoy member. Definitely highly recommend. Check out Dania Point for lots of restaurant options.
