The place is very outdated and the bed was hard. However, the rooms are clean, and the location and view are amazing! Justin- front desk and Mikayla- housekeeping are super nice and friendly! I will definitely book again!

Baby moon with my hubby working in town, 37 weeks pregnant, with two year old and 14 year old surfer son. Initial check in was fine, woman was fantastic and super happy to see us again, she knows us from prior paddle out event that we hosted on property and many small family trips to SBI. Rooms were same, outdated but the location is what makes this place so special so we overlook the room flaws. We kept extending our stay one night at a time because my son has friends in town and the beach is so relaxing but this seemed to piss off one staff enough to just be down right rude! Daniel, the staff member that seemed to be there the majority of the 5 days we were there, was just an awful interaction every time. When I checked in for our first extension he questioned my relationship with my husband, “is that really your husband or just your boyfriend?” Rudely because he cc was the one on file from the online booking but the reservation was in my name for check in but my card was presented for incidentals. Rude. When I told him that we had stayed before and had even hosted an event, he made a remark that I only had one other reservation in my name at that property, as to discredit that too. Then after checkout on the 5th day, hubby was working , checked out and told daniel that we were heading to the beach for the day at 11:00am, came back at 2:00 to the hammock shaded area and enjoyed lunch out of the sun, he approached and told me that they had another room available if we wanted to stay but we needed to wrap it up on property by 3:00 pm. Then asked again, where my husband was. What is with this guy?? Who treats people this way??? Does a 37 week pregnant woman, a two year old and a 14 old boy look like a good group of people to make uncomfortable? No where in any hotel policies does it state that we needed to evacuate the premises after check out. Was there a better way that he could have been trained to discuss any of the concerns with guests? He needs to be more aware that his behavior is offensive and if there are subjects that he needs to discuss with guests then he should speak with respect and care, that’s hospitality. Instead he treated us as squatters and trash. Questioning my marriage, my intentions, and all while we were paying guests was just plain rude. We will never return.

So glad I found this place! It's away from the crowds of Cocoa Beach but close enough for an easy drive if you want to check out stores and restaurants in that area. There are a few excellent restaurants within walking distance (less than 1 mile), too. I wanted to be away from crowds and at a place where I could easily walk from my room to the sand that led to the water. I also wanted a kitchen/kitchenette. This place fit the bill perfectly, my room was clean and the AC worked well. Unlike so many other motels/hotels in this area, you did not have to walk on decks or dunes to get to the water here. And, it is mostly a flat walk. Great spot for people that may have limited mobility (just make sure to ask for a room on the lower floor). You will not get a view of the ocean from lower floors but you also do not have stairs to contend with. Your door leads right out to a walkway to the beach or parking lot. I also liked that there was a guest laundry. Do not be turned off by how the washing machines look on the outside. The insides are clean and they worked well for me. Some reviews state that it is overpriced. I did not think it was, considering the location and the fact that there was a full kitchen in my room. I would definitely stay here again.

Look elsewhere! Not sure where all the good reviews are coming from. Overpriced and dirty! I expected it to be a bit outdated but I at least expected them to keep it clean. The bathroom had missing tiles and a taped over bathroom vent. The obvious places were cleaned but don’t look under the furniture or look around too closely. The price for what you get is highway robbery. Reminded me of my college dorm which has since been demolished. When all this was brought to the attention of the manager he keep saying “Sorry you don’t like the place”. We also saw bugs but were told they are fine and not to worry about them. We left after only and hour and of course didn’t get a refund.

We loved it here. It is so close to the beach, the garden, the benches, the hammock, the view were all perfect. I loved the colour of the building too, especially during sunrise/sunset. Remember it is a budget motel, so the amenities are outdated and it could do with a lick of paint. However it kind of adds to the charm. We walked along the beach to the main town and an evening stroll home. Highly recommended

Adorable “vintage type” motel. I loved the futon and the bed in “separate” rooms (I wake up early!). The kitchenette was just right for our brief stay! The proximity to the beach was perfect. We enjoyed A launch at night and sunrise the next day! Yes.the bathroom could be freshened up, but it was clean, water pressure was strong etc. The front desk personnel was friendly and professional. Will return for sure!!

Great Place! Older place with so much charm. Very, very clean and right on the beach. Grills and little covered area to eat. Chairs at every room to sit and enjoy the view. Staff was super friendly. Bed was comfy. They make use of all their space which I love. Cute little 2 seater dining table, kitchenette (well equipped), futon couch. Very close to restaurants (not walking distance). Pet friendly which is awesome. Lots of dogs:) No frills older, clean, quaint place with tons of charm directly on the beach. Highly recommend and will return!!

We loved being right on the beach! The front desk guy was Great and showed us their room full of beach chairs and beach toys to enjoy. Watching the moon rise and sun rise from their hammocks was Perfect! Having a real kitchen was terrific! Will definitely stay there again!

Checked in on 9/8/2022 and checked out 9/12/2022. The hotel is very outdated, Dollar Tree decor is run down and lots of updates/fixes are needed. If you don't go into not expecting much and then you will be okay with outdated and run down. We did have an okay experience, minus the weed smoking, barking dog, homeless walking around and passed out, and who could forget all the Love Bugs on Sunday evening: The guy front desk on Sunday  (9/11/2022) was terribly rude. (I could not get into my room - room 6. There were at least 500+ Love Bugs on my door and window. There was no possible way to get in, without letting them ALL in. I went to the office and he made fun of me for not living in Florida or knowing about Love Bug season. The lady in 5 also came seeking help - same problem. He told me he knew about Love Bugs and laughed at me and her and proudly announced that he did nothing about it when he had just walked by. Made us both feel less than and how dare we ask for help. He did remove a couple of Love Bugs. Then when went to unlock the door even more swarmed. He yelled at me b/c I couldn't get to the door b/c I was being bombarded by the bugs being displaced. The lady at 5 was trying to help me and he yelled at her too b/c she asked what could be done to help me. He just walked away angry and upset that we wasted his time. A very uncalled-for situation all the way around.) We did appreciate the closet with the beach chairs and beach items. Now the people smoking weed, the homeless man hanging around, and loud barking dogs at all hours of the day and night - did say something to the young couple (Their response was “We are allowed to have their dog and dogs bark all the time.”) Very small drive away from the action of Cocoa Beach. If you have a rental car, less than 5 min drive to most parts of Cocoa Beach. This place needs a strong refresh, but if doing so, they would change their price per night and zero out people that support Mom and Pops vs big corp. We did have a private beach all of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Sunday during the day, very few people. The outdoor space may be run down, but the views are beautiful and access to the beach is easy.
