The location is the best for views and nearly cross the street 5 min walk to Pier 60 and the beach want to give first the management a high five which is Colby GM & Eddy his assistant MGR they aim to please the guest. Now the front desk staff is awesome also Dillion in the AM and the PM staff the best they are there for the guest thumbs up also very attentive. Last but least the housekeeping & breakfast staff are all 5 star employees. Please give those hard working housekeeping and kitchen ladies a raise.

We decided to come here for a staycation around Thanksgiving. The staff was extremely accommodating, the rooms were very clean and on-site services were very helpful in guiding us to things to see and do.
There is a parking fee that's not disclosed until you arrive- depending on how you book your stay ($20.00/ day) but that's expected at a location that gets as busy as they do.
I would highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. They have a nice rooftop bar with a view of the beach where you can watch the sunset but it's only visible when the sun is in summer season. There's another hotel that blocks the view of the sunset when it's in winter months.
Overall, we still had a wonderful experience here and will definitely stay her again in the future!

I live in Orlando and needed a beach getaway . We planned to drive in and I booked this hotel because it was a reasonable rate. I was pleased with this hotel. Clean and well maintained. Paid parking is available, well worth it because trying to find parking would have been a nightmare. Our room was clean, nice balcony (also clean). Literally, 2 minute walk to beach. It is an excellent savings over beaches right on the beach. Close to North street, where there are shops, bars and ice cream. Close walk to Pier 60. Great for night time walk and snacks . Staff was friendly, we were greeted by TJ at beginning of our stay and he checked us out. If you are looking for a hotel with Covid regulations, this is not the one. Some staff wore mask. I observed cleaning staff and kitchen staff with mask. Nothing encouraging guests to wear mask. To be fair, I don’t think any hotels or establishments require Covid precautions from all the people we saw

Unfortunately, I have to give this hotel a bad review. The room was okay, relatively spacious, but there was a weird musty smell in the room and hallway. The Wi-Fi is pretty inconsistent. Continental breakfast is ok. The hotel staff are pretty nice. The location is very convenient to the beach.
The most concerning part of our experience, and reason for 2 stars, is due to a safety hazard. When we entered the pool one night, my husband jumped right in. Then, I noticed that someone had defecated in the pool. It was disgusting. There were many pieces of feces spread throughout the bottom of the pool. We notified the staff. When we checked back less than an hour later, we saw that the majority of the feces had been removed but a few small pieces had been missed. No sign was present to alert guests about the issue, and the pool was never closed down for full cleaning.
Given that there is an additional mandatory “amenity package” fee of $29+tax a night that includes use of the pool, I would expect that the facilities would be kept clean. This was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel and i would not feel comfortable using the pool for the rest of our stay.
Overall, including all the fees, this hotel was almost $500/night. However, the quality of the facilities is budget (motel) level at best. The service is decent and you’re mostly paying for the location. Keep your expectations low.

We stayed here in June and had a good experience, except for the “below average” breakfast ( keep that in mind). We had a great view in room 602, and before we left, booked it again for September, requesting the same room—at least the same view. We came there in June because we prepaid for the rooms, though the Ringo & his All-Starr Band concert got postponed to September (two of them had COVID in June). So we came back last week for the concert. The concert was great, but cannot say that for Pier 60. When we checked in last week, we were relegated to a room as far away as possible from what we requested when we rebooked, a view of the parking garage. We went to the front desk, were informed it would be an extra $100 per night to stay in the same area we did before. When I protested, the clerk lowered it to $75 per night, wouldn’t go any lower, AND said we’d have to pay an extra $32 per day for parking, the pool, and the below average (and supposedly “complimentary” breakfast). My spouse had an injured foot and didn’t need to walk that far to the worst room in the hotel, so we bit the bullet and stayed in the better room and got hosed for the extra charges. That won’t happen again. If we ever return to Clearwater, which is doubtful at this point, we will avoid Pier 60 like the plague, We don’t appreciate being treated so badly. On top of being hosed as we were, I don’t need rock-hard breakfast items and bruised bananas. Never again. Be forewarned. I’m thankful Trip Advisor gives the chance to warn others.

Stayed recently based upon previous experiences and boy has this hotel gone down in standards..... first of all we were over charged for amenities (laughable) Amenities were to include parking / wifi / breakfast. Wifi was only available in the room and was substandard. Parking was provided but as our party of 9 had a larger 12 seater. We where placed in an abandoned field to the side of the hotel with no lighting or security. And breakfast was not supposed to be included (which was fine because it was terrible on previous trips) however they decided to add this charge on after booking which we were nor notified about nor wanted it was over $30 per day per party. So times 3
Upon checkout we were told no bill could be provided as the system was down, but one would be email ASAP. So we couldn't dispute the bill.
Only to get home to find the entire party was charge twice over 1050 each for 2 nights stay. So times 3
Contacted the hotel via email/phone call on multiple occasions and requested to speak to a manager who wasnt available untill 9am. Called back afyer 10 he was in a meeting, called again only to be told there was no manager on duty, We have still not received a refund.
Worst hotel experience I have personally ever experienced. AVOID !!

Our hotel management and all employees strive to provide excellent customer service. You were contacted and our General Manager spent over a half hour on the phone explaining it was an error at your bank and that we did not double charge you. We regret that you have to reach out on social media and spread misinformation. We would never not refund money owed to a customer.

This hotel is very very nice, like others said, very clean, the staff is wonderful and great location to walk everywhere, you do not use your car if you want to stay local which is great. They just don't really have a pool, it's attached to the parking garage which is very odd and there are no amenities there like they have at the Hilton, Hyatt and Wyndham. The gym is good but not great. One of the treadmills out of two was broken, no sign on it. The breakfast is meh, if you just want cereal, the english muffins and bagels were stale, and the bananas they put out are old, the keurig coffee in the room is way better than the restaurant, it's nice that they replenish the k cups each day The WIFI is awful, do not plan to work here that's for sure, it is really bad. The maids bang on the door at 8am and sometimes just walk right in, did not like that at all. They do a good job cleaning but to walk right in is just obnoxious. The deck bar is fun.

My family and I are here now and we have had a great time so far. The view from our room is breathtaking.. The location is great and the customer service has been top notch! We had an issue with our refrigerator when we arrived, we asked a maid and 15 minutes later, maintenance was delivering us a brand new fridge. The guys at the desk are very generous with the towels as well. The pool is located adjacent to the marina, which offers great views, and has plenty of shaded areas in case you want to get out of the sun which has worked out great for our sun burned northern skin. The pool is very warm, like 88 degrees which is great since the temps outside the past few days have been low. My family has found the breakfast to be adequate and is better than spending $30 plus dollars for breakfast elsewhere. We would 100% come back in the future. PS. On a side not, the rooftop bar has great food and the noise level has never disturbed us and we are staying on the 10th floor.

Wife, grandson and I just recently took a 2 week travel vacation through the whole state of Florida and our last stop was Clearwater Beach which we had never stayed at before. We didnt have reservations, just wanted to go and look at our options and we decided on the Pier House 60 mainly for the location. WOW, it was wonderful!!
The price was fair considering time of year and mainly the great location. The hotel is very modern, clean and the staff is exceptional. We stayed on the 8th floor which had a very nice view of the Gulf. You are charged an extra resort fee for the parking and breakfast but considering the what local parking lots charge, this is a very reasonable charge. The rooftop has a nice bar called Jimmy's Crows Nest and it serves great drinks and a nice selection of food options and the view from the rooftop is wonderful!!! During our stay we constantly saw housekeeping cleaning, whether is was cleaning windows, vacuuming or wiping down common areas, they were do an excellent job keeping the resort clean. We look forward to returning to Clearwater Beach again soon and this would absolutely be the place for us to stay. Wonderful job Pier House 60!!!

This is from the lens of a mother of 2 littles (7 and 5). We stayed in the double queen (or full) bed room facing the bay. Nothing fancy about this room, it’s bare bones. But it felt clean and safe which are two key things for us since we hope not to spend a lot of time in the room.
This room in particular has only 2 small drawers under the microwave and one in the night stand. So we chose to keep the adult clothes either in their suitcase or in our storage bags on the suitcase holder next to the tv stand. Closet had ample hangers for us, about 6-8 or so. There’s very little shelving in the shower to hold all our bath/shower supplies so items are left on the floor of the shower. There are 4 square down pillows on the bed. These don’t bother us but just know they aren’t standard size pillows.
The pool is very basic, 3-5 feet and not very big. It’s street level so you hear the traffic.
Pros: close to pier 60, beach, restaurants, boat/cruise activities, Walgreens, breakfast (they do have hot items) budget friendly considering the proximity to everything else
Cons: need more drawer space, another shelf in the shower, no lounge area-the lobby is just the registration desk next to the area where breakfast is held
Overall, the beach is beautiful. Soft sand. Calm water. Kids can go in on their own without you feeling like a rip tide is going to take them in. The cabanas are $45 day. There are inflatables nearby that are pay as you go. $6 for 2 tickets and each one is 1 ticket. Be careful, they get very dry hot in the sun and burn your skin so good early in the day or later in the evening. Icecream shop near the pier and some quick food for lunch.
