What a little gem. Visited with our travel trailer. Loved the laid back Florida feel of this cozy park located right on the water. Close to all Everglade attractions. Loved every minute of our too-short stay. If you love fishing, this, indeed, is paradise.
We only stayed for 2 nights. We rented unit 67 for 2 nights just to check out the area. We didn't bring our boat, but will do so next time. This is really set up as a fishing camp - but a real community of...More
Great time, staff, sunsets, and very relaxing. Praise The Lord. A very quiet atmosphere with a great church nearby called Chokoloskee Church of God. A great place to enjoy the beauty of The Lords creation!

What I can tell you about the area is that the water is pretty skinny there. I can only guess if you have an aft cabin boat you probably have an outdrive. I would call the marina and ask if there are any slips that have the depth you need and are the channels deep enough to explore. I have been on charter there and ran my own 16 footer with outboard. I have never seen cruisers in the Chokoloskee Area. The place is loaded with oyster beds albeit beautiful. We ran the 100 mile wilderness waterway which is recommended for boats 16 foot and under. There are ramps up in Everglades City a few miles away which connect with the Baron River a deep river that runs out to the gulf. Enjoy the Keys once you get there, I live in Marathon. Lanny
