The hotel wasn’t the best. They say “free breakfast included” but they provide you with a useless gross bag of food. I rather pay money for good food then get that. Again people stay in hotels for vacations. Why would gaslighting breakfast be a good idea? Their was a roach and fly in our room. And cleaning service wasn’t available after like 10. They take forever to come to bring anything.
This was my second stay at Hampton Inn in Boynton Beach Florida and the hotel remains an excellent place to stay close to restaurants Starbucks Aveda hair salon pizza places and close to the highway. The pool area is very clean the weight room area is very clean the hallways the lobby remain constantly cleaned and freshened throughout my stay. Hats off to the managers both name Michael for running a excellent check in and check out process I would also like to give a shout out to Robert who is the maintenance man and the house keepers are very hard-working and the rooms were very clean everyone is wearing masks and respecting distancing. Again hats off to both Michael’s for a great stay and I will definitely return to this hotel the next time I’m in town.
DO NOT STAY HERE especially if you are trying to stay at a place for your own SAFETY. I was going through some things so I checked in this hotel for my own protection and upon arriving I specifically asked the front desk to not disclose any information to ANYONE about what room I was in because I was being followed by people. The person at the front desk who I later found out was the manager told me it was policy to not let anyone know. So I spent the night there thinking I was safe... The next day it was a different person at the front desk and they told these people my room number!!! I had to stay quiet in my room for these people to leave and they were not leaving, they were banging on my door so I had to text my friend to call the front desk to get security. They sent the bell boy who admitted a female in the room called saying they were bothering me.. where is the discrepancy??? Eventually I ended up calling the police and it was a big issue. I reported it to the manager because I was requesting a different room FOR MY SAFETY and they gave me a different room. Before checking out I complained to them about how they shouldn’t have gave anyone my room number and the manager said he would check cameras because he claimed no one gave my room number... so how did these people find me if I didn’t tell anyone my room number? So the manager said he would check cameras and when I came back down for an update “the manager left.” They gave me a discount for 2 of the 3 nights I stayed. So I still paid full price for a night when I shouldn’t have paid at all but I didn’t want to stay out in the open in the lobby discussing it because I DID NOT FEEL SAFE. Do not stay here..…
This is a nice hotel and a quiet place. The one big problem is DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE HANDICAP ACCESIBLE ROOM. Handicap accessible does not mean handicap friendly. The room is accesible but once you get in, it not a handicap friendly room. The Shower has a huge step up and there is no handrail to hold on to while getting in and out or showering. It's also very small and the toilet is too low for a handicapped person or senior citizen to use comfortably. The bed is very comfortable and the wi-fi works well. It's a good place to stay if you do not have special needs. I think the ADA needs to know about this Handicap Accesible description.
This hotel still has nice suites, although it is starting to show its age in some places. Some of the staff was a bit weird during the Covid 19 beginnings. One older guy had his mouth full of food both times when I approached the counter. The rooms are still roomy and the location is good to escape to other areas of south Florida. Pool area should have been closed during the crisis- bad management.
