We stayed at the Henlopen Hotel in May. You cannot beat the location as it's at the Northern end of the boardwalk so there are less people. The rooms were clean but a little outdated. We stayed on a Sunday and Monday night and there weren't many people there, so they upgraded us to an Ocean Front for not extra...

Most of the reviews here are pretty accurate as far as what to expect from the Henlopen. This is not a luxurious, stylish hotel by any means, but it's a terrific place to spend a few days at the beach. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The balconies allow great breezes from the ocean, and it's great to have...

Comfortable room, large updated bathroom with standard tub/shower and large step in shower. Large double bowl sink. Lots of room for a family returning from the ocean. Situated on and at the beginning of the boardwalk. There is a large stocked with soap and towels shower and changing area accessable through the lobby. We came with two cars and were...

What this place is not is a 5 star luxury hotel, but then again Rehoboth is not the French Riviera either. This is a decent, slightly dated hotel that is short on frills. So there are no fresh flowers in the lobby, no manicured land or hardscapes and the staff do not answer guest requests with a "certainly." Some people...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay.Rooms were clean.I loved the fact that we had step in shower along with the standard shower/tub.Excellent view from our room,The room looked to be recently updated.Staff was pleasant. Breakfast needs more than just packaged foods. We would stay here again.

Stayed here to celebrate a wedding on the beach. There was no pool, no gym, The reception desk clerk had the personality of a wet dish cloth. The continental breakfast ran out of coffee and had nothing in the way of fresh fruit at all. All in all, disappointing.

Went & stayed there from the 4th of July to the 8th. Son had wedding on beach on Friday nite then reception upstairs in the resturant. The food was out of this world. The rooms are nice but we had a 2 bedroom suite and only one bathroom, could of used 2. Continental breakfast is OK, all prepackaged foods. But...

We stayed here for 4 days. Could not ask for a better location. Rooms are slightly dingy. Staff is fine, and was attentive when we had plumbing issues. Not a great hotel, but I would stay again, because of the location. Breakfast consists of bagels, muffins, juice and milk...fine before you head to the beach. If you want luxury, this...

The Henlopen Hotel would be a perfectly acceptable $79 per night motel. But, at almost $200 per night, it is over-priced, even for Rehoboth Beach. The location is good, right on the northern end of the boardwalk, just off the beach. The staff was very polite and helpful at check-in. However, when we needed them during our stay, they didn't...

I personally did not stay here but had room blocks for my wedding. The manager released my room blocks without notifying me and left me without rooms for my wedding party. I called a week and a half before they were to be released and they were already released so i'm not even sure when he did release them. He...
