I stayed one night. Visited the restaurant and that was nice. Mattress was so so but overall good stay. The hotel was clean and the staff were courteous. Overall this was a very nice place for the price.
the hotel was beautiful and well appointed, rooms were spacious and clean, very large hotel with old world feel, small bathrooms, executive lounge not open, and breakfast was a grab and go bag, hotel gives each guest coupons for a free alcoholic beverage with a value of 10 dollars per person or you can use it for 7 dollars in there food pantry, bar area opens at 5 pm and was very disorganized for the amount of employees working the area, service was extremely slow, bar was crowded but not too bad, I have seen bartenders with only one employee work faster than here, we eventually walked out and went across the street to Applebees where we could get some proper service. all in all would stay here again.
hotel was clean, rooms nice and staff was very customer oriented. GREAT lication, close to mall, highways. Breakfast was good and convenient, and lobby bar/rest was good nice for a quick bite but also good restaurants close by.
This hotel is a great location if you want to bounce around both Wilmington and New Castle as it's a 15-minute drive from anywhere we wanted to go. The hotel lobby was very inviting and the staff was friendly. The back patio is really nice and I'm sure amazing if you go in the summer months when the pool is open. Everything was clean and comfy.
I spent a week at this lovely hotel. I chose it because I was familiar with it from being in DE many years ago. The décor is now modern and brighter, with comfortable common areas to enjoy. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. From front desk to housekeeping, this hotel has always hired people that are friendly and committed to giving guests a top-notch experience. I treated myself to booking into the key-access 4th floor. Because the Executive lounge is currently closed, breakfast and free drink coupons were included for my stay. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. Each day had a different egg offering. One morning it was some mini-frittatas; still thinking about how good they were! Other hot offerings included oatmeal daily, and alternating selections of pancakes, french toast, sausage, and hash-brown cakes. Lots of cold offerings that should satisfy everyone. If breakfast is not included in your hotel rate, the charge is $15. On the not-so-great side of changes: Utensils and plates are plastic at breakfast time. Hopefully they'll go back to real silverware once Covid clears. For a hotel of this caliber, plates and utensils should not be plastic. Also, there is no free coffee available in the lobby; not even in the morning. It's $3 for a cup when breakfast is being served in the restaurant. My room was stocked with Keurig options but this is the first hotel of many I've stayed in (including other Hiltons) with no free coffee options in the lobby at any time. Quibbles aside, I still love this well-maintained property and wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area.…
