staying at the Kunda despot hotel is a unique, historical experience. The neoclassical style hotel has been completely restored from its early days as an orphanage and school. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with exceptional and outstanding service. There was a slight mixup regarding our room which was immediately rectified by the general Manager, M. Cem Celebi with courteousness and Professionalism.. He continued to check on us over the course of our stay, and we felt pampered and well attended to. The same level of service is provided by all of the staff. The grounds of the hotel are stunningly beautiful both with a panoramic view of the Aegean Sea. The food service at the restaurant is 5 star. The hotel is located in a beautiful area and one can take a long walk along the boardwalk which is within easy distance to other restaurants on the water. The hotel has a private beach on a nearby island that is accessed by the Hotel’s private yacht. I highly recommend this hotel. It was one of our best stays in Turkey.…

Surely one of our best hotel experiences in many years. Outstanding accommodation and superb service from start to finish. Incredible attention to detail and high standards from all departments, ranging from Reception to Room Services to Restaurant. Not cheap, but worth every penny.

My family stayed at this wonderful boutique hotel for several days and we were truly impressed by the hotel, its facilities, the kindness of staff and the breakfast. The team has done a wonderful job creating this gem from a nearly collapsed old house with a lot of history. Congratulations again! Will definitely go again!

I went for a 4 day getaway with my wife and we chose Cunda Despot Evi for our vacation. From the first step you took in to the property, the friendly and always smiling staff amazes you. From the bellman to receptionists, our waiter (Mr. Tattoo Guy) to the captain who took us to the beach, everyone was professional, efficient, polite and friendly. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. Everything is top notch luxury including the amenities and quality of linens. The food in 1862 is mind blowing! The Linguini Frutti Di Mare is one of the best I have ever had so was the dinner with grilled octopus and sautéed prawns with vegetables. Also they have an amazing house wine named after the property. The pool is very relaxing. It’s a good design surrounded by green gardens so you can sit or lay down anytime you want. The beach is accessible by a small boat which is a fantastic journey through beautiful blue waters of Aegean Sea. It’s close to the hotel and there are enough trips to make the access easy. The captain and the crew as well as the staff at the beach were all very helpful. The hotel is close to the center, shopping areas and other dining options as well as bars. Although there are many options around, my wife and I always came back to the hotel bar to sit by the pool to have a few drinks. The services, food, cleanliness and location of the hotel makes this by far the best in the area. All ran very professionally by the Hotel Manager Mr. Cem Çelebi whom I congratulate to have such an amazing team.…

Very nice place to relax, chill,stay and even only for to have your meetings. The hotel manager Cem is very kind and he has very good hands on hospitality. You will have no doubt to have experience either to stay or have couple of hours to have dinner, breakfast or even only coffee.

One of the most premium experiences ever. Everything is being taken care of by the staff, the food is amazing, best therapists we have seen in the Yund Spa, close to everywhere in the center, beds are very comfy, best sleep we have ever had. Everything you expect from a premium resort you can find in Despot house!

We stayed at Cunda Despot Evi for four nights in June 2022. The room and the hotel facilities were clean and met our high expectations. The service and staff was helpful and professional, and we were well taken care off throughout our stay. A big plus is the hotels restaurant which serves delicious food from morning to late evening. We would definitely recommend this hotel, and look forward to return to it.

We spent a great weekend there. Rooms, pool, and beach were extraordinary !! The Cleanliness of the rooms, especially the "white soap" smell in the room , was so nice and romantic. Variety of food in the breakfast was so satisfying. Dİnner @1862 was full of surprises! Fresh sea foods and local infused desserts were mind blowing! Thanks again for this great experience.
