This was honestly one of the nicest B&B' s we've ever been to. All arrangements were easy. Check in and check out were effortless. John and Shireen are super friendly and very accommodating. We received a wonderful upgrade, wow! The home is meticulous in every way. We felt like we were in a museum and had gone back in time....

This place is expensive but it's luxurious. The owners turned a burned out shell of a Victorian house into an immaculate and stunning property no expense spared. We stayed in the Cupid room which was stunning and had a custom painting on the ceiling. Although the room was a bit overpriced - $325 for one night!!!! - the bed was...

This is absolutely one of the best B&B properties we have ever experienced! The history of this house, and what it has gone through, is truly a testament to the vision and effort of the proprietors, John and Shireen...we are just happy that we were able to experience even a couple of nights in their beautiful home! There are not enough superlatives to describe this B&B. The house itself is just amazing, restored by the owners after it was damaged by fire to an exceptional standard, with beautifully decorated rooms, and great attention to detail. We stayed in the Cupid and Roses room, which was just lovely. A large light filled room with windows on two sides....

My husband and I were on our anniversary trip and decided to visit the New England states. Our first night we stayed in Hartford. This is a gorgeous establishment! Shireen and John have done a fabulous job restoring this old home. Quiet and quaint. Grounds are so beautiful and just a short walk into town. Breakfast was sumptuous. Will definitely...

This in is a real gem! Both inside and out the property has been lovingly restored to extraordinary level. We’ve stayed at many Inns throughout the years, but this has to be one of the very best we’d had the pleasure to stay in. Each room was restored to its original grandeur, with detailed moldings, windows, fireplaces and furnishings. We...

I recently treated my mother to a stay here. The home's exterior and grounds are gorgeous, the interior’s décor is exquisite, and amenities are superb (on par with any 5 star hotel). You can tell this B and B is labor of love as evidenced by the attention to detail, how immaculately it is maintained, and the host’s hospitality. Be...

We had such a nice stay at Silas Robbins, and felt pampered with 5 Star luxury. Innkeepers and staff was very friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating of my gluten allergy. Quiet and peaceful. The house and our room were all beautiful. Breakfast was superb and generous, with full service for a decadent fruitcup and a hot entree. Several choices for hot...

I have never stayed in a more beautiful, better kept, or better appointed Inn. It is exceptional in every way and the owners are lovely. There are not enough commendatory adjectives to describe the Silas Robbins House. Wow!
