I’ve stayed here twice, two nights each, and I feel like I’m staying with friends at their beach home. Waterfront and surrounded by a golf course, it’s very quiet and relaxing. Well appointed rooms and suites and lovely new bathrooms. Everything and everywhere is immaculate. A lo

We recently stayed at the Inn at Longshore. We were warned upfront that there is no elevator and that there was a Wedding on the property. Neither of which interfered with our stay. The accommodations were spacious early American styling. Well appointed updated bathrooms and

Recently attended a wedding at the Inn. Overall the service was excellent, the food was above average but I did have some gripes. During the ceremony which was being held on the lawn it was near impossible to hear anyone speaking. Most of what I did hear was the chatter and clank

Thank you for taking the time to review The Inn. We completely appreciate that we are on a property that we do share with other entities such as a restaurant and golf course. Waterfront real estate is typically impossible to find when locating wedding venues in these prime locations. We typically install 10 foot walls to create privacy for that intimate moment during the ceremony and we do have a sound system. Sometimes the families hosting the wedding appreciate the open concept which may impede the sound from the back. It's such a great spot in the warmer months and we are fortunate that many people like to enjoy the property and apologize that you didn't hear the ceremony well. We are happy that you enjoyed the catering services and waitstaff as we work really hard to train the staff so that all of our guests enjoy the wedding experience! Thank you for the kind words and we hope you have a reason to come back! Warmest regards, Christine, Eddie, Laina, Adrienne, Nicole and the entire staff at The Inn at Longshore

We attended a wedding on the grounds next to the water which was very pretty. Drinks and food were served by very friendly and attentive wait staff. The quality of the food and service that followed was second to none. Excellent staff!

My daughter wanted a getaway from New York and we found this gem at the last minute while driving around. It was so nice to locate a place to stay directly on the water with wonderful LI Sound views (and Adirondack chairs) and a nearby beach. Rooms are large and very comfortable

Hi We are coming for a wedding, which airport is the nearest. Regards Irene Minsky
Hi Irene - The closest airport is Westchester, however, we are also close to LaGuardia, NY and Kennedy International airport. Westchester is about 40 minutes (without traffic), LaGuardia is about 48 and Kennedy is about 1 hour. I hope this helps you and we will see you here for the wedding! Christine

"Choose a room on the 3rd floor for the water view (although you will still see the function room roof.)"
"any room on the 3rd floor"
"Booked best room offered and was ultimately disappointed! The hike to the third floor was unrewarding."
"Get a second floor room so,you don't have to haul luggage up two flights of steep stairways"
"Best view is a room overlooking the water."
