Having spent 30 odd years living in the country this was really just like coming home to me. Travelled with hubby and 11 yo son and from the minute we arrived Micky and Marie made us feel so welcome. Greeted with tea and tray bakes we soon settled into one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in with private bathroom. The personal touches throughout the whole house show thought care and attention to detail. Loved the comfort of the breakfast room which was stocked with tea coffee and condiments throughout our stay. The breakfast were delicious, more than you can finish and the wee added extras again much appreciated. Views to die for and a great base for touring the area. Beds are so comfy and had two nights of lovely un disturbed sleep. However what really makes this place are the hosts Micky and Marie are top of their game. Can't wait to come back.

Like others, we had a little difficulty finding Glenview Lodge. But once you get there, it is so worth it! Quiet and secluded with lovely views from every window. Beds are medium-firm, which were perfect for us. Our bathroom was private, i.e., no one else was using it, but it was across the hall from our room. That was okay with us, as no one else was around. Breakfast was excellent. Hosts are very welcoming and congenial. Gave us sound advice for managing roundabouts! In the morning they sent us off to a very interesting local point of interest, a ringfort, which we would have missed otherwise. Thanks, Mickey!

We have stayed at the Glenview Lodge for one night on our trip from Slieve League to Giant's Causeway Coast. Beautiful design, quiet location, super welcoming, friendly and nice hosts and great breakfast made it a great stay. perfect area for walks. The best B&B we have stayed at in Ireland.
The only slight minus is that one needs a car to get somewhere for dinner.

We arrived at Scalp view having noticed the signage on the roadside whilst visiting the scenic Inishowen countryside.
Turning off the main road from the village of Burnfoot , a short drive brought us to our destination.
On arrival the owners could not have been more welcoming , offering us tea / coffee and assisting with our luggage .
The décor of our room and property in general exceeded our expectations for a b&b in this price range. It was very clean but also homely and comfortable, having up to date facilities.
The house Is nestled in a lovely rural setting with views of the surrounding countryside.
Micky and Marie were very accommodating and knowledgeable with regard to places of interest and restaurants.
The following morning we were offered a selection of continental choices and a variety of cooked breakfasts the standard of which would equal the finest hotel.
We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this b&b to anyone looking for places to stay in this area of Donegal.

We are just back from a two night break in donegal staying with Marie and Mickey
They are the perfect hosts. Welcoming and informative. I loved the French ambience that comes from their time living in France. So great location, great accommodation, great breakfasts and close to one of the best restaurants in Ireland, Harry's in Bridgend. You really can't ask for more and we will be back soon.

Very clean and modern. Mairie and Micky were very welcoming and gave us a great tip for dinner locally. We stayed along with our 3 kids and they also had a great time, loving the openness of the house and the chickens and dog from next door. If you are visiting Donegal or Derry, this is an ideal place to stay

Perfect. Mickey and marie were perfect hosts. Received a text containing a greeting and directions the day before arrival. Then due to a late check in I was worried about timing and Mickey offered to give us a lift into Derry.
Then there was the breakfast! One of the best frys ever with fresh coffee, orange juice, choice of cereals and pancakes with maple syrup. We also got out of bed quite late but timing wasn't important, we got breakfast when we wanted. Rooms were lovely and fresh with nice homely decor. Great place, lovely people and highly recommended.

we have just returned from a one nights stay at Glenview Lodge. it was a treat from my husband for my birthday. And from the moment we arrived the owners mickey and marie made us feel at home. we had a beautiful spacious bedroom with a lovely bathroom. The bedding and towels provided were sheer luxury. The breakfast was superb. Mickey and Marie were extremely knowledgable and helpful about places to eat. We are already planning our next visit to this 1st class B&B

Lovely B&B modern but cosy, clean and comfortable, could not fault our stay here, just a shame we couldn't stay longer. What stood out the most was the owners Mikey and Marie who really made us feel at home, lots of tea, scones and even home made pate!! Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection. Mikey recommended a great restaurant for the Friday night which turned out to also be a little gem! Anyone visiting this area should stay here without a doubt!
