A beautiful, authentic colonial home, decorated warmly, and with lovely grounds. Extremely gracious and pleasant innkeepers who had just the right of involvement with their guests. Excellent breakfast (you won't find this at a Hampton Inn!). Comfortable bed in a cozy room. Towels so luxuriously thick they almost require extra strength to pick up. A room stocked with coffee, snacks,...

Calling Green Acres a B&B is missing the point, it's more like a friends house in the country side. After all, isn't it what the movie is all about. First and foremost, how often do you sleep in such an old house, where you wake up to a fire roaring and the candles lit all over. The 18th century house...

What a wonderful experience!! The restored house and grounds are beautiful and very historic. Jim the owner made us feel right at home and the dogs are very friendly! My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in December to celebrate our anniversary. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, and as dog lovers we enjoyed being greeted by the couple's cute dogs! Charming antique furnishings abound in this cozy home, complemented by festive holiday decorations. The table in the fireplaced dining room was set elegantly, yet the overall...

My husband and I decided to spend New Year's Eve at Green Acres Bed and Breakfast. As this was our first time ever staying at a B&B, we were both a bit apprehensive about what to expect. After all, you are staying at someone's home.. I'll start off with the curb appeal. When you drive up, the B&B is on...

we three much enjoyed the suite, with a separate room for our teenager daughter. The breakfast provided in the green patio kept us going until dinner time! Very friendly hosts who were available to offer tips and background about the area. We will return in weather when we can enjoy their outdoor pool, which looked lovely. We ate in Simsbury...

Was attending Hillstead Museum Sunken Garden Poetry Festival in nearby Farmington and booked this B&B for the night. Enjoyed our stay. Rooms were charming and clean. The owners were very friendly and attentive. We had a lovely poolside breakfast and enjoyed a dip in the pool. Hope to visit this B&B again!

I loved this place! We stayed in their RV area which is a great green grassed area with full hookups. The owners make you feel like family! This small little town is about 35 miles outside of Sioux Falls and worth the extra travel to stay in a quiet peaceful place. We will definitely make travel plans to return.

Hi Jean, This is a great review but it's not our B&B. We are Green Acres in Simsbury Ct. The place sounds great! Jim and Cathy
