We enjoyed our stay with Nyomen and family at Frangipani Inn at Seraya. It’s off the beaten track but a lovely Balinese experience. The rooms are basic but clean, fresh bed linen and towels, good WiFi, air con and outdoor bathroom. Nyomen has 4 rooms and a small pool to cool off in. He organised a motorbike for us so we could get around. He came to pick us up from Sidemen, and drove us to Candidasa after our stay. Room price included breakfast which was lovely and fresh. We also ate snacks and dinner there. We bought a fresh Mahi Mahi fish and he cooked it in banana leaves, served with vegetables and rice and we all sat down for dinner as a family. Great experience and good fun. Nyomen’s family made us feel welcome and we feel like we have new friends.

Nyoman has been an incredible host while touring around East Bali. We can not thank him and his staff enough. We loved everything about our short stay in this beautiful and traditional Balinese village!!! Nyoman is very welcoming, and really guided us in discovering a local way of living, and spirit too. We also had incredible and delicious food at his little warung. An honest place, ideal for a break away from the most touristic places. The surrounding of the village is spotless, a must do to discover the TRUE Balinese vibe and culture. We truly recommend a stop to meet Nyoman to anyone, you won't be disappointed!!! Ask him to get some fresh fish for your lunch! Thank you again to you, we will be back very soon for another holiday :)

Das Frangipani Inn ist ein echter Glücksgriff! Liebevoll eingerichtete, sehr saubere Unterkunft mit Hängematte auf der Terrasse. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Gastfamilie, die im angegliederten Restaurant fantastisches Essen zubereitet. Ruhige, weitestgehend touristenfreie Gegend mit tollem Meerblick. Nyoman, der Eigentümer, ist auch ein toller und humorvoller Fremdenführer und Fahrer, der viel über Bali weiss und uns zu einigen fantastischen Orten gebracht hat. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gern wieder! Staying at the Frangipani Inn was a real treat: A lovingly decorated, exceptionally clean bungalow with a hammock on the terrace and a view toward the sea. The Parna family who owns the guesthouse is very friendly and helpful and magics up delicious meals in the adjoining restaurant. The area is very quiet and there are not really many tourists around. Nyoman, the owner, is also a great and entertaining guide and driver who knows a lot about Bali and took us to some exceptional places. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back!…

Outstanding atmosphere - this is what describe these people and place! We found this place completely by chance ...and we had an impression from the very fist beginning that we belong to the Family and their place and their village! We are astonished about all what happens to us there - lovely people, outstanding views, extremely traditional, calm, wonderful food.... i hardly can find words to describe time spent there! Its like to be a member of the Family .....and we already very very much miss our new Family there! This is the place, but especially People there that will always wake full of wonderful emotions in our hearts and minds! We will come back there.....very soon ..

Norman, the owner of the inn and restaurant was very helpful and friendly. He drove us to a snorkelling site nearby, in Ahmed and showed us around. Both him and his wife are very kind. I’d recommend a stay with them!
