Raju's Cottage is one place would love to stay forever. I first visit this place way back in 1998 and fell in love instantly. This is the place where you can easily forget the world to relax and relive your childhood. RGH (Raju's Cottage) is run by Mr.Raju Bharati and his wife Lata. Lata is an amazing cook. I had...

This is my second review for Raju's. After having visited Raju's as a solo traveller in 2015, I returned to this wonderful place with my wife in September 2016. We had an excellent 3 day 2 night stay. Away from the city, this is an excellent place to unwind. The two room (cabin) was wonderful. Since we visited the place...

The road leading to Gushaini itself is so picturesque. Location of Raju's guest house is just perfect, river on one side and mountains on the other. The homestay itself is so beautiful, you would forget the tiredness of your long travel instantly. Clean cosy wooden cottages, and pretty surroundings. Perfect place to unwind, sip a cup of chai while you read...

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE - the access to this place is via a small rope-wagon which can seat one person and is manually hauled across the river. This is rather crude and while it may make for some fun new experience for normal people, it can be extremely challenging for specially abled persons. I came across this place from a very...

Cleanliness is at the top priority. The rooms are as clean as in 5 star hotels. The guest house is right next to the river. The view from the rooms are overlooking the mountains and a beautiful river. The beautiful bank of the river is an ideal place to pursue your hobbies be it reading, writing, bird watching, painting, meditating...

A home away from Home, while they have very limited staff everything is taken care off in timley manner. Place is located along with River Byas in wilderness and it is perfect place for nature lovers and those looking for some solitude. Absolutely brilliant rooms with perfect hospitability.

I went there on December 2014. It was my honeymoon trip. Initially this place was not on my tour plan but I came across some reviews of this place and thought to give it a try and I can tell that it was worth every penny. At first when I called them for booking, they just confirmed my booking on...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestled amidst a gurgling Tirthan river and blessed with the charm of orchards, the homestay is located in Tirthan Valley in Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. The rustic little homestay, accessible through a manual ropeway above the Tirthan River, is a family run setup. Surrounded by apple and cherry orchards on three sides and the Tirthan river teeming with trout, a tributary of Beas on the fourth, the setting is typical of the idyllic Himalayan lifestyle of the yore, and takes one back into time and civilization.
