One of the oldest homestay in Tirthan Valley and the best homestay in terms of service, food and location. Khem Bharti Ji is very helpful, and have lots of stories to tell whereas Miss Bharti herself cooks the home-made food. Not to forget the caretaker Pawan who is very helpful and friendly. All of them are very humble. And also their camp-site which is very close to nature. Must visit both of them!!!

Small homestay.Rooms on second floor were good sized with huge balcony.Veiw from the balcony was good.River is around 50mts from the place.Rooms were nicely maintained.Care takers were very cooperative.Food was tasty.will also suggest to try veg thali(in lunch).

This is a very good and relaxing hotel.The whole family manages this hotel with excellence. Food is superb with Mrs khem bharati preparing food on her own. The scent of hospitality matching morden standards,Special mention also to M/s Roshini who never had a complaining face to serve the guests. Location is a jackpot of this place.You will find lot of peace and tranqulity here. A perfect place if you like to stay in a typically himachal villge with all comforts.

This must have been the go to place at some time. Now much better resorts etc are there at the same price - and they are ON the river. The service orientation and enthusiasm of the owner was low. Food was good.

Mr Khem Bharti is a very humble person, who would do anything to make your stay at his any of the Properties worthwhile. I was staying at this new property which is a camp site and the current one as well, and loved both of them a lot. He and his wife both are the main people behind this lovely guest house, where his wife would prepare Fresh Delicious food for you everyday, breakfast, lunch, dinner. Very adjustable and were able to accommodate our request for Delayed Breakfast and Dinner times. Quality and the Quantity of the food served was 10/10 and especially when you will get river side views while having your food, you would end up eating more and enjoy more of their food. He has a small Man made pool in the Tirthan River , right next to his Camp site which is worth trying, though the Water is very cold out here, but It is worth the experience. The rooms are big enough to make you stay relaxed and cleanliness is always there.…

The stay was very relaxing. We stayed at the top floor. Rooms are spacious, very beautiful sit out area, amazing views. Hospitality of the family is good, food cooked is delicious. Staying here for 2-3 nights is relaxing.

I had planned a trip to this beautiful place - trithan valley. I had planned the whole trip by myself. Khem bharti is a very nice host, the place had beautiful view of the tirthan river in front. Best thing, we used to get up in the morning at any time we want, they were making fresh breakfast for us, same applies to lunch and dinner. They were patient with our irregular meal times and alwaus serve us hot and tasty home made food.

Loved the place..Food was very good we had Breakfast,lunch and dinner.All the meals was exellent and was served beautifullyThe quality and quantity was very good of food. The rooms are very nice even when we reached we got the option to choose the room as we came early This place is very near to the river.

It's Worth for Your Money. We stayed here for 2 days. Mr. Khem, he is so good and has a rich knowledge of Tirthan Valley. The main catchy point here is Trout fish and the home way they cook it. Mrs. Bharti "Hema" she treats everyone as a family member. Thanks to Mr. Khem.

Travelled end of April 2018 I was backpacking through Himachal and had reached Tirthan Valley without much of a planning. While scouting for hotels, I was looking out for a conveniently located property with good view. Khem Bharti home stay, also known as trout valley home stay matched the expectations. I have travelled a lot, and I have to say that my hosts, Mr Khem Bharti and family were the best I have came across so far. The property is right in front of Tirthan river and is mix of wooden and traditional building giving a cosy feel. I stayed at the top floor which had a big patio with a great view of the hills and the river. The rooms including the bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. I loved the wood work done in the rooms. The food was authentic Himachali food and simply tasty. Mr Bharti thaught me trout angling and we did manage to catch quite a bit of trouts. Fresh trouts cooked in Himachali style tasted superb. Mr Bharti also arranged for a one night trek into GNHP, which was a life time experience. I would give full stars for property location, property and rooms condition, hospitality and food. Looking forward to visit again with my Family next time. Tip: 1. Ask for rooms at the top for the next experience. 2. If you need something and don't already find it in the room, just ask for it and it will get arranged ASAP.…
