My mom and I decided a last minute getaway near new york, while browsing the internet this bed and breakfast caught my attention. I called the owner and she was very pleasant to talk to. We stayed for two nights and those two nights were amazing!!! The house was beautiful and welcoming. Gail made as feel like a family. I... More

Roseledge Inn is a B&B. It is 3 hundred years old with few changes. It is a romantic setting with beautiful grounds and its location is perfect. Both casinos minutes away, Mystic is 30 minutes away, and Newport an hour away. There are wineries to visit right down the road as well. Fresh homemade pastry and cider is available all... More

My husband and I decided to do a 2 night getaway at the Roseledge Country Inn and we are so glad that we did. The Roseledge is a 300 years old home lovingly cared for by Gail, the wonderful innkeeper. The property is extensive with beautiful gardens and numerous sitting areas. Our stay was relaxing and serene yet Foxwoods was... More

Well we only had a one night stay while attending a show over at Foxwoods. But this place was just a little piece of heaven. Kind of wanted to move in. Actually, DEFINITELY wanted to. Gail was so hospitable and welcoming (and an amazing cook). The cat was especially friendly as well. I'd recommend staying here before ANYWHERE in the... More

My husband and I have been going to Roseledge at least two weeks per year for the last five years now. Each time we are well taken care of and feel completely comfortable. Gail is an exceptional and thoughtful hostess and innkeeper. Breakfasts are always tasty and plentiful, especially the potatoes and eggs, which are fresh from her own hens.... More

Once again, our hostess, Gail, and Roseledge farm made our 46th anniversary stay one to remember. We've been yearly anniversary guests for well over 10 years, and always come away refreshed and happy. Gail is a gracious hostess, and excellent chef. Our breakfasts are always delicious and creative. Plus, her home is charming, clean, and very inviting. Whenever we stay,... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at the bed and breakfast. Gail is a lovely host and her breakfasts are fabulous!! Afternoon lemonade and snacks were also a highlight for the hot days. She gave us suggestions on area beaches, restaurants, local happenings and parks. We took all of her suggestions and weren't at all disappointed. Loved all the sitting places... More

We have spent our retirement (5 years) going to B & B's. This is the worst one we have visited .The gardens are beautiful but it is difficult to get to them. The path from the parking area to the inn is uphill and paved with large uneven stones that are difficult to walk on. We were greeted by Gail... More

Roseledge is not for everyone, and we realize this. Every effort is made to accommodate our guests and we offer to help you with your bags.... The historic nature of the property does not lend it self to door to door service. The Ha Ha surrounding the property is a 300 year old hand crafted stone wall...and yes the side... More

My two sisters and I visited the first week of July. I love the out of the way location. The inn is old and charming, our room was very clean and comfortable. The real joy is the beautiful gardens. So glad you were able to enjoy the flowers before the hot and dry summer fried them all! The chickens seam extra hungry lately, wonder if that means a snowy winter. The ground is so dry that would be helpful! Just had the ends of the house scrapped and painted, she is looking great for her age! My best, Gail More

The gardens suffered so this summer, just so hot and dry. I resist watering them as that promotes shallow root growth. Now that Autumn is here, I will be adding to the soil as I cut back the spent flowers and planting the shop left overs to fill in! I have been making a lot of lavender lemon Scones lately... More
