Location, location and location - on the beach side, 30 meters to waterfront, own deck-chairs, one of the best beaches I seen ever. But furniture are old, bed is creaking, mattress is too soft and old, creaking window shutters, a few electric outlets. Looking as thirty years old construction without renovation. But location is beautiful!

The apartments are well equipped with a full equipped kitchen. Ours had two bedrooms and a common area with open plan kitchen, flat tv screen, free wifi and a dining table. Both rooms had balcony with chairs and table and the most amazing views you can possible wish for. Free parking at the premises and daily service cleaning. The owner is a wonderful and kind person that did everything he could to accommodate all our needs. A short paved path leads to a wonderful beach with the most wonderful view you can possibly need, where you can also have a small bite or drink in a small canteen managed by the owner's son. In the evenings the sun sets behind the mountains so make sure you enjoy this by your terrace and if you are an early bird, the sea at around 7 o'clock in the morning is so calm that resembles to a lake. If you visit Ithaki, this is the perfect spot to stay near Vathy.…

The appartments are located in front of Dexa beach at Vathy, and is like a private beach for the people staying there. The beach is really amazing blue and turquoise waters one of the best beaches of Vathy in my personal oppinion. The flats were very clean and a maid was passing every day to clean up. The owners are very friendly and willing to help. The prices were really very good. We stayed for one week and had an amazing time there. Definitely thinking to re-visit!

We’ve already booked for next year so I’m not so worried about spreading the word on how stunning it is. You simply couldn’t find a more wonderful place to stay. The apartment has the best balcony and view in Greece (one-bedroomed apartment that sleeps four). It is exceptionally clean and well appointed and Evi is totally lovely. Book early to avoid disappointment (although you won’t be able to have the one-bed apartment when we are there!). They do have another apartment and four studios, all with the same fabulous view, though!

the Forkis Apartments with Dexa is the right choice. fully recommended. Apartment is fully equipped, 50m from the beach. if you looking for city you need a car or motorbike but for Ithaca it is better - Dexa is not fill and the beach is for you:-) - especially during the evenings. View from apartment is simple GREAT!!!!

We spent 5 days in Forkis appartments. It is situated in a nice location, very close to Vathi (5 min driving distance). Our room had a balcony and beautiful sea view. There is parking space and a beach bar where you can have drinks, coffee or snacks. The owner is very friendly. If you are planning to visit Ithaca, Forkis appartments is a great choice, even though it is a bit expensive.

This is the standard Greek apartment for rent: room + balcony + kitchen + bathroom. Very nice view from the balcony, overall clean room, easy-going people, less than 5 minutes drive from the capital of Ithaki, less than 3 min walk from Dexa beach. What could improve: more attention to detail (some construction done in an amateur way; loud workers fixed aircon of room next door at 08:30 in the morning; garden could be better-maintained). I do not regret staying at Forkis, but with a bit of effort this can become high-end.

"OMG! I've only gone and booked the best dog's b*****ks apartment in Greece!" ... was my geniune reaction when we arrived at Forkis Apartments in Vathi last summer. They have 4 studios and two apartments here. All with magnificant sea views. The one with the huge balcony is the one-bedroomed apartment. Beautifully clean and fully equipped for self catering, they are set just above a quiet beach (which has a small cafe bar) and not too far from Vathi town. I couldn't recommend Forkis Apartments highly enough and can't WAIT to go back there again this year.

It is a very convenient appartment, near both the port and the center and the owner is very friendly. It is a little expensive but the view is amazing and there is daily cleaning so this make me think that worth the money. I thought that breakfast was included in price but it is not. Instead, there is a fully organised kitchen. I recommend a stay at forkis appartments but if you want to save money there are cheaper ones, probably with less amenities.
